Chapter Seven
The clouds altered all around and a beacon of light formed into a bright sphere. Inside appeared, Daxton in his Pegasus form and Kimora gradually descending to the ground. The winds modified all around them. The light of the sun continued to brighten as the pair slowly descend to the ground. She held onto him as his horn held up the sphere. A few minutes later, they landed on the ground. She glanced all around her to see patches of darkness surrounding the once beautiful place.
“What happened here?” she requested.
He made a horse sound then turned to look at her with depressed eyes. “Darkness has come to Elysium and it is much more than what my fellow priests can do. We need you to help assist us. I know I asked you many times, but I wanted it to be your choice.”
