El QaaH ezbollah Sector Commander Abdul Mansour stepped out of his tent and looked up at the mountains where the first rays of a rising sun illuminated snow-capped peaks. He had 100 trained men combing the area to the east and southwest, but so far they had discovered nothing—not even tracks or other evidence that the fugitives were moving in his direction. Yet Mansour was positive that they must be. His maps indicated the terrain in those directions was mostly boulder-strewn slopes interspersed with stands of cedars that provided good cover. If the fugitives simply ran due east for the Syrian border, they’d be much more vulnerable to air and ground searches. Mansour had been trying to think like someone on the run all night while his teams spread out and combed their assigned sectors. W
