Las VegasM ike Stokey hung up the phone and drummed his fingers on a desktop. The call from Chan Dwyer Davis in Beirut was a shocker at first, but the longer they talked and the more details she provided, it just seemed like SOP for Shake. Chan was right, of course. Perhaps she didn’t know all the details about what happened, but she was on the money about why it happened. Shake was in full-tilt military mode again and on an escape and evade operation.
