Burnt Skies

Chapter 7

When I got to Molly's house we went in her room, it was huge, the wall color was purple and her bed sheets and blanket were purple too.

"So I already picked out a dress for you and I'm hoping you will like it" she smiles clasping her hands together

"Ok lets see it" I say

It was a stunning white dress with gold sparkles, it stopped a little below the knees, it was really pretty, the bottom of it fanned out.

"Its perfect" I told her

"I thought it would be perfect for you"

After that she sat me down and did my hair and make up.

I had gold eye shadow on and sparkly lipstick.

She did my hair in a fishtail braid on the side.

Then I slipped my dress on and and it was a perfect fit, for my shoes I wore gold sparkle high heels.

"OH MY GOODNESS YOU LOOK LIKE A GODDESS" Molly screams and jumps around clapping like a 5 year old.

"You look pretty amazing too" I laugh lightly at her behavior

She had on a purple curvy dress and her hair was just the right amount of curly, she had black flats with bows on them.

"Well are you ready to go?"

"Yeah"

We went out of her room, and out of the front door, I drove us to Zach's house with some help from Molly.

When we got to Zach's house I realized that it was almost as big as Brody's house, but just a little smaller.

We got out of the car and started walking up to the house Molly knocked on the door waiting patiently as Zach opened the door, he picked up Molly and spun her around in his arms.

I saw Brody on the stairs staring at us, I waved to him and he smiled and came over next to us "so what are you girls doing here so early?"

"Well we thought we could help setup but it looks like you already got that done" I motion towards all the decorations and things set up

"Yep done and done" Zach laughed

"Alright well do you wanna watch a movie to pass the time?" Molly asked

"Fine as long as you dont put on a chick flick" Zach huffed, me and Molly just smiled to eachother

While we were picking out a movie Zach and Brody were just sitting on the couches watching us.

Molly found grown ups 2 and put that in and then she went to go sit on the love couch with Zach, the only couch left to sit on was by Brody so I just went to go sit down there.

As the movie was playing I kept noticing Brody scooting closer and closer till our sides touched and when I looked at him he just smiled while staring at the movie.

I decided to get comfy so I laid my head on Brody's shoulder and out of the corner of my eye I saw him smirk.

I liked to see him happy like this, I didnt like to see the Brody I saw earlier today.

Looking over I saw Zach and Molly cuddling on the couch, they were such a cute couple.

After the movie was done Zach said that the guests will be coming soon so he turned the movie off and put on football, just then the doorbell rang and Zach got up to go get it, by the sound of it I could tell it was all Brody and Zach's friends.

*During the party*

I saw Zach and Molly dancing together with other people around them, I also saw Britney and her pack of friends standing around looking at people in a judgey manner, at that moment I was wondering where Brody was.

Brody was sitting on the stairs drinking what looked like beer so I walked over to him and said "may I have this dance?" With my hand held out towards him

His head quickly shot up and I was met with his beautiful eyes, he replied with "isn't that what the guy is suppose to say?" With a laugh

"Yes but it sounded like fun, do you want to dance?"

"Yeah sure"

He got up and we went to the dance floor, we started dancing and I saw Brody start to lean in for a kiss, Britney pretended to trip in the middle of us, man I was really starting to hate that b***h.
