Chapter 6

When I got home I was met at the door by an angry mom, and a mad Ash.

"Whats going on?" I question

"Why dont you ask your brother!" Mom growls out with a disapproving face.

I just shrug and dont bother asking about their drama, Ash always gets into some sort of trouble, I started running up to my room and on my way, my mom yelled "and why are you home so early Carmen!?"

I just acted like I didnt hear her and kept running up the stairs with a smile.

When I got to my room I put my stuff down and sat on my bed thinking, then a plan formed in my head.

One way I could win this fight with Britney is by getting to Brody.

I need him to tell me why he got so mad and what happened with them, for him to get so angry like that.

I was thinking I'll go and give them some cookies and she'll invite me in and it will just play out like that.

But its still early I cant go yet cause Brody's not home yet.

I figured I'd go to the store to get the cookies and whatever else we needed in the house.

I got up and went down stairs and asked my mom if theres anything she needs from the store.

She replied with "no, I dont think so"

"Ok mom cya later" I reply walking out

"Bye honey" she waves

I close the door and go to my car then start driving to the store.

When I get there I walk in and go find the stuff to make cookies, while im doing that I just so happen to see Molly.

I walk over to her and start my questioning "why werent you at school today?"

"Umm well Zach wanted me to have a day out with him so we went to the beach" Molly replies while playing the memories back in her head

"Oh cool"

"Yeah, so what are you doing here?" She questions me

"Just buying stuff for cookies"

She vives me a weird face and says "Why?"

"I have a plan, you know that girl Britney?"

"Yeah the slut and b***h of the school" she says making a disgusted face

"Yeah you got that right" we both just giggle

"Anyway she wants me to stay away from Brody so I've been thinking, to get her back I gotta act like im going out with Brody." I wink

"Oh good idea" she says tapping her chin

"You know Zach is having a party tonight and you know since Zach and Brody are friends that Brody will be there and Britney probably will be there too, so that could be the start of it if you go" Molly tells me

"But Molly I dont like party's" I whine out

"WHAT YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!" She practically yells out

"Molly keep your voice down we are still in the store" I scold her

"Whoops..... your going to that party whether you like it or not"

"Fine" I say with a hard look

"Ok so I'll call you later that way you can come over and get ready" Molly tells me

"Ok well I got to go bye" I wave and start walking away

"Cya" she smiles and waves

*Back at home*

"Mom im home" I yell walking in the house

"Ok honey, can you come and help me in the kitchen?"

"Yeah of course"

I slip off my shoes and go into the kitchen where my mom is making dinner, by the smell of it I can tell its chicken noodle soup, yumm.

"So what did you need help with?" I curiously ask

"Can you cut up the carrots please"

"Ok and when im done can you help me bake cookies?"

"For what?" She asks crinkling her eyebrows

"For the neighbors since they brought us food and also Molly wants me to go to a party with her if thats ok with you"

"Yep, since you never go anywhere"

I roll my eyes at her statement and start cutting carrots.

*after cooking and baking*

Molly called me while I was in my room packing some make up to take to her house.

"Hello?"

"Hey its Molly, are you ready to get your party on girl?!"

"Yeah, i'll be on my way, bye"

"Ok cya then, bye"

I hang up the phone and run down stairs.

"Mom im leaving for the party bye"

"Bye"

I take the cookies to the neighbors house and then get in my car then im on my way.
