Burnt Skies

Chapter 5

I wake up to my brother jumping on my bed.

"What are you doing ash!"

"Well i had to wake you up some how and this sounded fun so..."

" get out!" I shout at him

"Ok ok miss crybaby"

Ash walks out and shuts the door, i get up and walk over to my Alarm clock and realize i forgot to plug it back in.

I put on my clothes, and a little make up then go down stairs to eat my breakfast and realize i have a little time to watch t.v so i just turn on drake and josh.

Realizing the time i quickly go in my car to drive to school.

*At school*

I park the car and make my way to my locker.

When i get there i see Britney and some other girls standing around her.

"Oh my god did you hear the new girl Carmen, and Brody had a fight yesterday and that they're neighbors!"

As im walking over there i hear her say "oh here comes the b***h now"

"Will you just shut up and move away from my locker"

"Oh this is your locker i didnt know" she says innocently

"I bet you dont even know my name Carmen"

"Oh i know your name Britney" i say digusted

"how do you know my name?" Britney and her friends look at me in shock

"One name, Brody"

"Now move away from my locker before..."

"Before what Carmen, your the new girl you dont know what i can do, i can mess up your life forever"

"Oh im so scared" i say sarcastically

"Come on girls" Britney walked away with her group

As i walk up to my locker i open it and start shoving my stuff in, i start walking to class and trip over someone's foot, when i look up i see Britney looking down at me and all she says is " and it begins"

I get up and pick up my stuff so I can make it to class on time, to my surprise when i walk into class i see Brody on time but Molly isn't there.

Walking over i take my seat and say hi to Brody and Jackson, Jackson waves at me but Brody just frowns and turns away from me.

The rest of the class was really boring, Brody was trying his hardest to stay away from me, it makes me wonder what i said to him yesterday to make him so mad at me.

At the end of class i walk out and start walking to my locker, i see Britney with some boy that shes kissing.

'Whoa wait thats Brody' when i get to my locker i see her smile evily, Brody looks at me sympathetically and then starts yelling at her and pushes her away then starts walking my way

"Carmen its not what you think"

"Oh really Brody cause what i think is that i just saw you making out with that witch"

"Ok so it is kinda what you thought but im serious theres nothing going on between me and her"

"Brody i just want to say, why would i care, and this just brings us back to yesterday, what did i say to you to get you all mad at me anyway!?"

"Carmen just never mind i just dont want to talk about it"

"Then why are we talking about it"

"I dont know"

Just then the bell rang

"Thanks Brody, you just made me late for class!"

Brody just stormed away to his next class while i went to mine.

*At lunch*

I forgot my money again and remembered that money Brody gave me so i just got the rest of that out.

I got my lunch, sat down at a table and noticed all Molly's friends were sitting at a full table with some other girls.

I just decided I'd sit at my empty table

I started eating my food when Britney walked by, she acted like she tripped then spilled her food all over me.

Then she just smiled and walked away and left me with pasta all over.

I ran to the bathroom and started to clean up.

I didnt feel like staying at school and looking like this so i left and went home.
