Imani's POV "Everyone pay your respects to princess Imani!! Luna of the Eclipse pack! Bow your heads in reverence!" The squire announced and everyone knelt to pay their respects as I walked to my throne. I had just turned 18 and this was my proper inauguration, I had been known as Luna for three years but it was never this formal. Father insisted that we do this even though I didn't want to, but I couldn't argue with him for too long, especially when Leia, my wolf was in her sassiest mood. I smiled as I saw a particular person raising his head sneakily to have a glimpse of my innate beauty. "Naughty boy." I whispered to myself before moving closer to him to press his head back to the ground, I felt him groan and it made my smile. I sat on my throne, looking at my beloved people, "it's with great Joy I accept the responsibility of Luna, it is now my duty to protect my people and grow our pack. This pack means a lot to me and I pledge to serve and protect each one of you with great dignity. This I will do without hesitation and with all my might. Rise." And they obeyed. I took a good look at everyone and I was doing my best not to cry. I was so proud of my pack and myself, we weren't as big as everyone else but we were special wolves with special abilities and it made it difficult for any other pack to bully us cause it would mean a great loss for them. 'Imani, new Luna, Xavier wishes to see you. In private.' Isis, my wolf spoke and I couldn't help but smirk. Isis and I have been very close since she came out. She is the most fierce amongst any other wolf in my pack. And she is pretty dangerous too. "Everyone tonight is a night of drinking and dancing! Enjoy yourselves till you can move no more!" I screamed at the top of my voice as I scurried my way through the crowd full of dancing people. "Hail Luna Imani!!" My people chorused and the madness began, did I mention we were the best in enjoying social gatherings and making a mark? No? Well, we are. And we love to dance, and merry and fight too. I had danced and drank so much I was a bit tipsy and I was waddling through the palace to a more secluded place till someone grabbed my trimmed waist and pulled me closer to his rock body. "It isn't fair Imani." He groaned in my ears, his breath was mixed with alcohol and combined with his scent, it had an intoxicating effect on me, "how long were you going to ignore me?" Xavier was always trouble, and never left me alone in peace, "should I have left so early? So people would know that I have a relationship with my beta?" I smirked to myself before rubbing my body against his crotch, I smiled in satisfaction as a groan was forced from his lips, I loved doing that. He pulled me across the hallway, moving closer to his privacy chamber, it was hopeless pulling back cause I wanted the same thing too, 'Always committing sin with Xavier, I'm waiting for the fruit of all your hard work.' Isis, my wolf, teased me in the head and I did my best not to laugh, she was the reason I was Luna before I was 18, she came at a really early age and it forced my parents to fast-track my training so I would be competent enough to rule. He pushed me through the open space of the door and locked it before bombarding my lips and body with kisses. "Darling…" I moaned lowly, he was uncontrollable when he was under influence, I looked into his eyes which were now pitch black, his pupils had vanished and it was only the sclera that looked like an endless abyss. It gave me chills, it intimidated me. I curved my long nails through his thick brown locks, the one best thing I love about his body was his hair, so soft and silky. I could die for his kind of hair. "You promised to be mine the night I marry you, be mine tonight and I promise I'll marry you tomorrow." He was in the rawest state his being could go, a perfect harmony between him and his wolf. I mean, isis liked every moment of it. "I can't say no now that you have started." He was still touching me and I gave myself over, we crashed into his bed and everything was so fast, clothes were thrown to all corners of the room and before I uttered another word, I felt him slide his fingers inside of me, "Xavier!" I moaned, It wasn't new but it felt amazing each time. We left the party early, and I'm sure my parents would have noticed but they knew I couldn't resist him either. The blissful moment passes and we are under the covers reminiscing the moments, "So now that you're officially a Luna, would you kick me out?" He sneered, which made me laugh. I always threatened to kick him out of the pack when I became Luna if he didn't behave and stop being lazy. "I think I'll just tie you to a tree and not give you any food." He laughed before he understood the hidden message behind it, "Imani don't you—" "It's Luna Imani." I corrected him with a nasty smirk on my face before he climbed on my body, "My Luna…" he went down for another kiss, “ Don’t you think we should……. Be more formal beneath?” “ Come on, you know I wouldn’t do that to you. I love you too much to do such a thing.” I scooped his face on my palm, “ I’m ready to give myself to you tonight, even for a tiny minute. I want to feel you inside of me.” “Wow, Imani…” He went down for another kiss till we heard shouting and screaming, "what is going on?!" He was irritated, most likely his wolf, then we heard the wall bell. "Invaders!" We shouted in unison.
