THE SHADOW PART FOUR

Stacy run in the toilet and started vomiting.What could be the problem John her husband wondered and though he didn't know much he knew this is one of the signs of pregnancy.He had for a long time wished to have a child.Stacy was back .John asked her honey are you sick? I don't know,that smell of the beef just irritated me which have never happened before.John served her,but again it was hard for Stacy to eat beef.when she was handed her food she almost vomited again.John took away the plate from her.She said take the beef stew away from that plate I don't want to eat it she said.Its okay honey you then have some fruits , tomorrow I will send a doctor to come and check on you.Stacy said its okay and how was your day honey she asked.John dint want to tell her anything that was going to scare her until the doctor had confirmed what the matter was.My day was great he said.The officers called me in their offices and they confirmed to me that all was well.John then asked her did your visitors come?yes she said yes,they came and we had quality time together.We had a discussion about our new upcoming magazine.We came up with the title of magazine THE SHADOW we choose this title because the work we were doing had to reflect back to the society.We agreed that our new models had to plan for days to go to the cities and villages to nurture the talents of young people.I told them that I was to send them a photographer on the day they were to start their mission.The photographer was to capture the necessary pictures to be used in the magazine.Wow John said this was a brilliant idea am sure the whole world will appreciate your efforts most people don't remember to give back to the society am proud of you guys he said.Thank you she said and then said she was feeling sleepy and needed to sleep.Just before she got in bed she felt a heartburn she rushed in the toilet and again she started vomiting.John took a glass of warm water and waited for her in bedroom.Here have this John said ,he was not sure what he was expected to do but he knew a glass of water would help her .She drunk the water,changed into night dress and slept.John covered her well and he remained sited .He was still thinking about the box and the gun inside how was he supposed to carry that thing every day.He thought of an idea ,he went in the wardrobe and selected the clothes he was supposed to wear the next day.He then took the gun and placed it in his trouser pocket he then picked his licence and placed it in his shirt pocket.He now felt a bit relieved.He then got in bed to join Stacy in sleeping.He looked at her it was five years since they married and she still looked sexy and beautiful.She was an amazing girl she knew how to maintain herself.He then feel asleep.Time seemed to have gone so fast .An alarm was ringing,Stacy had set an alarm to help her wake up on time.It was at 6 o'clock in the morning and she was still feeling so sleepy.She went in the dining room she collected the dishes and washed them.She then cleaned the floor.She then had to decide what to prepare for breakfast.She first prepared tea and then placed it in the dining room.She decided to cook some eggs.She placed the pan in the cooker she applied some oil and then put her eggs to cook.Again the smell of the eggs was so irritating to her that she run again in the toilet and started vomiting.John heard her vomiting and noticed there was something cooking in the kitchen he rushed in the kitchen and helped Stacy in doing the rest of the cooking.He finidhed cooking the eggs but he was sure she was not going to eat those eggs .He had to cook something with less fats and something that dint have a strong smell.So he decided to bake a cake he mixed the ingredients very fast and at last he placed his cake on the oven to cook.While the cake was cooking he washed some apples and grapes placed them on a plate and then took them in the dining table.In 15 minutes time the cake was ready.John removed it from the oven and placed it on a plate and took it in the dining room.He then went the bedroom where Stacy was sited on bed wondering what was wrong with her,hey honey the breakfast is ready lets go and eat he held her hand and walked together in the dining room.Stacy was amazed by this it was the first time to see him doing the cooking.She even thought her husband dint know how to cook anything and there he had managed to even bake a cake.Welcome for breakfast John said he served tea in two cups and handed Stacy her tea.Thank you my husband she said.She enjoyed the breakfast so much .This time she was not affected by this meals she then ate the fruits and she ate to her fullest.John was glad that she loved her breakfast.He then removed the dishes from the table and washed then and cleaned the kitchen he had to help her wife because she had always been there for her.He then joined her in the sitting room where she was watching a movie.He picked his phone and checked whether he still had a number of a doctor he had once saved.Wow I still have his number he said.He called him,hello doctor how are you doing long time.The doctor said,am doing great Mr John long time.Doctor am calling because my wife is not okay she has been vomiting since yesterday and again this morning she tried to make breakfast and again she started vomiting i had to help her .Ooh sorry the doctor said.Now am requesting whether to can come to our house today you check what could be the problem,John said.Its okay mr John i will come ,i will just attend to a patient here who came very early in the morning and then after that i will come there immediately so by 9am i will be there.Its okay doctor i will really appreciate i will be right here waiting for you.He called Dennis to inform him that he would be late for work .Hello Dennis how are you doing this morning,am fine sir .I called you to inform you that i will be late for work today please ensure everything runs as usual.Its okay sir.Dennis was a smart man and John really trusted him with his company.Dennis was a man who knew to keep the secrets of the company and there is no day he could allow things go wrong while he could do something to help.John then remembered he had not yet served his new guard with breakfast.He said honey you didn't remind me to give Sam our new guard breakfast,ooh i too forget Stacy said.John went in the kitchen served enough breakfast for him and walked outside to give him.Hey Sam good morning,here is your breakfast .Sam was suprised to see his boss serving him .John then went inside picked two chairs and joined him outside.Hi Sam here let me join you out here .John was a humble and a kind man despite of been rich and famous.He had also not spent time with Sam before to know him more.Sam tell me more about yourself,do you have a family ,a wife ,siblings,kids.Yes i have Sam said,i have a wife and two kids they live with my mum in the village.My first born is in 4th grade and my last born is in the 3rd grade .My mum is a great farmer,she plants maize,beans cassava,yams ,bannas and she keeps cows and chicken.My wife is also a farmer she has learnt farming from my mum.Wow that is so great am happy for you Sam .Why did you not choose farming like your mum?John asked .I have kids are in school i need to pay for their school fees my wife takes care of their food and i take care of their school fees.The markets in the village are so poor .The roads are not good constructed which makes it so hard for farmers to farmers to supply their farm products . Sometimes you harvest your products and you don't know wherd to take them . Transportation is the biggest challenge.Oooh sorry for that John said.I understand how this politicians are they promise alot of things but when we elect them they forget about the promises the made .Have you ever thought of staying with your family here in town John asked.Yes when I stabilise financially i will bring them here in the city.Great John said ,that shows that you love your family.Ofcourse i love my wife and kids mr John.Having a family makes you feel complete as a man.They both laughed .Sam was happy he was always alone out there and dint have anyone to talk to.John too noticed he was not a bad person to hung with because they were both family men despite of the differences in social classes they still had things to talk about.John looked at his phone and it was at 9 already he knew the doctor would be there anytime.Hi Sam it was great spending time with you let me go back in the house ,there is a doctor who is coming anytime from now please allow him in.Okay sir he said .John went back in the house to catch up with his wife .She was still watching her movie it was a series movie .John was poor at concentrating on a movie and most of the time he could not understand what he movie was about.He sat down anyway and pretended to concentrate on the movie.The only parts that interested him was the actions part.The parts where people were fighting and parts where there was something sporty.There is this part that interested him most the characters were playing football.when they scored a goal he stood up and shouted go........al .He even forgot they were with Stacy and he almost kicked a table thinking it is a ball.Stacy looked at him and busted into laughter.This is crazy she said.John noticed Stacy was looking at him and he got somehow embarrassed.He sat down and continued watching.There was a knock on the door.That must be the doctor John said and went to open the door.Hello doctor you are welcome, John said .You still remember this place i thought you were going to call me to ask about the direction.No mr John i remember this place very well.Have a sit doctor John said .He then went in the kitchen to bring a cup of tea for the doctor and a piece of cake .Thank you John he said but you dint have to worry yourself that much .Now madam Satacy how do you feel the doctor asked.Mmmh for the last few days there is something strange happening to me.Sometimes i feel lazy,sometimes i crave to eat or drink something so much and now am getting irritated by the smell of some foods .Am also going for a short call more frequently.Well the doctor said ,while checking for something from his bag and was finaly holding a small glass bottle take this bottle and put urine in it and bring it to me for some testing.Stacy picked the bottle and went in the toilet.The doctor finished taking the breakfast and John cleared the table to make it easy for the doctor to carry out his testing.Stacy was back and she handed the bottle to the doctor.The doctor picked it and did several testing on it including the pregnancy test within few minutes he was done and he told John and Stacy to wait for the results.He then asked mr John how is work,my work is fine today i decided to stay a little longer with my wife to know what was the matter.Thats good of you mr John family comes first.The results are out the doctor said your wife have no infections and congratulations you are about to become a dad your wife is pregnant.John said yes I really want to be a dad he was really excited with the news.What your wife is doing is normal and there is no harm in that .She can also continue doing her house chores to keep herself fit and healthy but she is not supposed to do hard task.She is also expected to eat balance diet ,alot of fruit and she is supposed to stay away from anything alcoholic.Alcohol can easily risk the health of your child.John looked at Stacy and said hope you have carefully listened to what the doctor have said.She said yes ,i will follow all your activities doctor she said.Mr John now allow me to leave i have to go back and attend to other patients John paid for the services and thanked the doctor for coming.He left and said please feel free to call me anytime just incase of anything.John was so excited and he had a reason to celebrate.Am going to be a dad he said he danced and then he picked his phone to call Dennis to let him know that he would not go to work because he had a reason to celebrate,he picked up his phone and called,hello Dennis how is everything and how is work.Sir everything okay except of a client here who have refused to to complete his payment until he sees you,well tell him that i have given you authority to purchase all the products in my absence call me back when you you are done ,and something else Dennis today am not coming to work take charge of the company.Okay sir Dennis said.He went back to the client and said that mr John had said that you complete your payment he is not coming he just travelled,the client asked where he travelled to Dennis said he was not sure.Should we continue with the payment process Dennis asked ,the client said just wait for a while Dennis noticed this client was not straight why could he probaly change just because he heard that John was not around he picked his phone again and called mr John hello sir there is a problem this client has changed his interest to buy the car just because I have said that you are not coming he has then asked where you are I have said you have travelled but am not sure where you are.John suddenly remembered what the officer had told him and for sure he knew he was not safe ,he thanked God that hr had not gone to work that day.Okay Dennis just handle him with alot of care .It's okay sir Dennis said and went in the reception to serve him from there.
