THE SHADOW PART THREE

At talent development classic schools . Dennis was staring at Nancy he had just noticed how funny she was and just wanted to see whether she could manage to follow the dance rhythm .He asked her to stay on the front line and he stayed on the last line because he was not badly enough when it came to dancing but for Nancy she had to stay on the front line so that she could learn the new moves and keep in touch with the tutor.At fast Dennis stood aside and started laughing Nancy was really dancing funny.The tutor saw him and signalled him to go back to his line.

people were coming there so that they could learn and so no one was allowed to laugh at his students.At last Dennis was concentrating at the dance and avoided looking at Nancy.The lesson was over and the tutor asked the new students to record down their names and contacts.Stacy was amazed by the lesson she really loved dancing and she was sure she was going to make a good dancer.She thanked Dennis for taking her to those classes.She promised to never miss this classes she was determined to make a good dancer.They got in the car Dennis dropped Nancy at her place then told her to catch up the following day.Nancy was so much tired she just took a shower,fried some eggs , which she ate with a cup of black coffee.The then did nothing else and just slept.At the company the guards were so busy they stayed on and moved around to make sure there were no strangers in the company.The security authority also sent some officers to go and do so investigations that night.They called John to inform him and he thanked them for taking an action with immediate effect.He now felt a little better .The company guards collaborated with the officers to speed up the investigation.They divided themselves into groups and stayed at different positions and waited for the hours when the criminals were coming.After they had set up everything they relaxed and remained silent.The officers packed their car inside the company to make it difficult for the criminals to trace them.They then weared green clothes and covered their bodies with alot of branches and moved around with them.You could think they are just bushes and not people.This officers were very good at their work.It was at 2 o'clock when they heard some movements.They overheard them talking .One of them was saying ,i know those stupid guards have slept already,if not we are going to spray them with this medicine and they will fall asleep immediately.Now the officers understood why it had been hard for the guards to notice them.They were spraying the areas where they were staying and they immediately feel asleep.The officers had to manage how to get that medicine before they start spraying it on the air they were afraid they might fall as a victim as well.They first waited for them to settle down they also checked carefully to see the kind of weapons they had and listen to their conversation they were also recording them.We must get all the money in this company one of the criminals said and after that we are going to kidnap that director John he is very young where does he want to take all that richness at his age?They then started unpacking the things they had carried on their bags.There was elastic improvised ladders that could fit in their bags, spraying drugs and they each had a gun.They planned to first make the ladders and to all climb up to see what to do next.The officers started moving closer.It was hard for this criminals to notice them they had camouflaged so well and looked like branches that are been shaken by the wind.The criminals managed to make their elastic ladders and they all said to first leave everything down and climb up to check and see what is happening in the company.The officers had already informed the guard and told to pretend they are sleeping they also told them to cover their car so that they could not sense they were around.The officers noticed that they had made elastic ladders to enable them to jump into the other side.They then overheard the criminals saying that they were going to climb up ,check what was happening on the other side and then climb down to take their weapons.One of the criminals shouted wow the stupid guards are sleeping already.Another one said i even wonder why John wastes his money to pay them.Another one said yes! today we are going to be rich our mission must work today,we are going to break into that cashier box ,break it and we carry all the money after that we are going to kidnap John and he has to give us everything we request for he is too young where does he want to take all that wealth.All this time the officers were recording everything they were saying.They then texted the guards to pretend to be sleeping all the time to make it easy for the officers to hit their target.When they climbed up the officers noticed they had left some items down they wondered what was inside.The officers had managed to camouflage so well by wearing green clothes and covering themselves with the tree branches.They slowly moved to where the bags were and slowly carried them.While the criminals were still taking sweet moments up the ladders ,one of the criminals said that our sleeping drug was working so well if this guards tries to wake up we are going to spray the whole place and everyone around this place is going to fall asleep.The officers were so lucky because they had already managed to take their items already .one of the officers said if we were not fast we could possibly be sleeping right now in the cold.They carefully checked the items that were inside and they found the following items.Guns, sharp knives and sleeping drugs.This criminals were much armed and its like they had known that place for a long time.Okay lets climb down they said this time they were much ready to start their mission they were wearing masks on their faces . within a short time they were down already.They first decided to dance because they were excited they were about to become rich.All over sudden they noticed their items were not there they searched everywhere and could not find anything.They decided to go and such on the other side because the dogs must have passed bye and drugged their bags.When they were still searching their bags the officers slowly took their ladders and folded them.When the criminals came back even the ladders were missing.The officers then played strange sounds that were only heard in holar movies.The criminals said demons John has sent his demons to come and finish us .They screamed while running away .The officers this time were just laughing.What was even more funny this criminals got confused in such away that they run and still came back to the same point and then asked each other why are we not moving.The officers laughed so loud that they even feared they would be discovered.This criminals are so crazy the officers said it looked like a comedian clip.The officers played the hilarious sounds more loud ,there happened to be two dogs who passed that time the criminals run like people competing in a marathon race shouting ,John please dont finish us.The dogs enjoyed the race and kept on following them.Where the race ended the officers dont know.This was a night to remember to this officers they had gotten entertained for almost two hours.They then left and went inside the company the guards were really waiting for them and wanted to hear about what the officers had achieved to do.The officers who were still laughing said nothing but just told the guards watch this.They also started laughing loudly.Then the officers said we will contact your boss later in the day.They carefully packed the items they had gotten from the criminals in the boot.They then got inside the car and drived outside the company.They decided to look for a restaurant to get something to keep their body warm it had been so cold outside.But they were glad because it was not in vain they were very sure there us no way those criminals would try to come near John's premises.That night John was a good husband he had gone direct home and he got home on time.He found Stacy in the sitting room watching her best movies . John was used to finding her in the kitchen doing her chores.Hey honey he greeted her am fine honey.John noticed there was no even smell of food in the house which meant she had not yet cooked John dint ask anything he took a shower, changed into home clothes and then joined her in watching.It was long since he watched any movie.There was a knock at the door.John asked her were you expecting a visitor.Yes a delivery man she said.That Stacy had decided not to cook and asked for food delivery and beer delivery.Thank you he told the man who just delivered her goods.She picked two plates from the kitchen and two glasses of wine.He served the food and filled the glasses with wine .Once they were done with eating she started drinking she turned off the channel and turned on loud music in the house.She kept the glass aside and decided to take her beer direct from the bottle.She then stood up and started dancing while still taking her beer .Stacy was a good dancer ,she danced so much that John was just moving his head towards the moves she was making.She drank all the beer and threw the bottle away .She had gotten so much drunk that she even forgot she was with someone in the room.John was suprised he had stayed with her all those years and never knew that she took beer and she was a good dancer.But what suprised him even more is how she had thrown a bottle without caring there was someone in the room.He just ignored her because he knew she was very drunk.He left and went to sleep.He needed a rest he had a long day.Stacy continued dancing and the music was so loud that the neighbours could easily here it.She got tired and sat down on the floor thats when she remembered she was with someone in the room.John she called she tried to look for him but could not see him.She turned off the music and went to sleep.She had not slept for long when her phone started calling her.It was Peter calling her using a video call.She went in the sitting room to pick up the call.Hey naught boy i told you not to be calling me late at night am someone's wife.Hey Stacy I come in peace am calling you to inform you that we are supposed to work on our new magazine and therefore we are supposed to have a meeting with you tomorrow.I also wanted to inform you that our new models are really doing a great job.They also have brilliant ideas that are helping to improve and develop our company.Stacy who was now becoming jealous said,yeah I saw potential in them on that day of auditions and I knew we made the best choice to choose them.Now about coming tomorrow for the meeting it will be hard my husband told me that there are some insecurities at his company,some criminals had tried to invade into his work premises and that i should avoid unnecessary movement Stacy said .What if we hold a meeting at your place i will come along with our new models .Am sure their ideas are going to be of great help.Stacy said it's okay and you are most welcome at my place.She kept the phone down and looked around the house was so messy . Pillows everywhere the dishes they had used were still on the floor,there were pieces of glasses from the bottle she had thrown away.She decided to clean up the house and put everything in order,she took the dishes in the kitchen,came with a dustpan and a broom to collect the pieces of the glasses and food staffs that had fallen down she took them in the dustbin.She then took a table cloth and wiped the tables and wiped all the dust in the house.She then went in the kitchen washed the dishes cleaned up the floor and started cooking.She had to make the breakfast that was enough for her and her husband and the visitors she was expecting.She decided to make some donuts.She picked the ingredients and a short while she started cooking them once they were ready she made enough tea.She then picked the fruits and cut them in the right sizes and arranged them nicely in a big plate.She looked at her watch it was at 6:am in the morning.She took her breakfast and Johns breakfast on the table.She then went in the bathroom took a quick shower,brushed her teeth and then dressed up into a sexy dress.She then called John to wake up .Hey honey it is in the morning already wake up your breakfast is ready.John just looked at her,is this not the woman i left yesterday dancing and drinking she is up already she is clean , dressed up and smelling nice.Ladies must be crazy.Hey honey i said wake up its in the morning already Stacy called him again.Yes honey am up,he said he quickly went to take a shower.Stacy picked a blue suit ironed it and picked shoes that matched that suit she place them in a place John would see and she went in the dining room to wait for him there.By the time John was coming out of the bathroom the clothes were right there he dressed up fast and went in the dining room to take his breakfast the table was all set and the whole house was clean and in order at what time did Stacy do all this things had she really slept?On the table there were donuts,fried eggs and tea.Stacy said welcome for breakfast honey.John said thank you he then ate until his stomach was full he knew how much heavy breakfast helped him .He was a busy man and it was hard for him to even get time to sit down and eat.Stacy then picked his lunch box and packed for him some snacks,she then carefully placed them in his bag and then gave him the bag.Honey Stacy called today am expecting some visitors.I have colleagues from the modelling industry who are coming here for a meeting.John said its okay but immediately after the meeting they are supposed to leave my house and something else dont drink with them he said harshly.John had noticed that its a high time he starts acting like a man of the house and set rules in the house.They were not kids anymore and there is no way they could continue acting like teenagers and yet they were getting old.He then said goodbye to Stacy and told her to see each other in the evening.He left, good morning Sam he greeted him.He was their new guard at home John had decided to bring a guard at home for more security.Am fine sir Sam said.How is the work so far.Its okay i cant complain Sam said.John told him that he will be taking all the meals there .John told him every time you need a meal go knock my house and tell my wife i said you be taking all the meals here.Its okay sir .He opened the gate for John and saluted him .John loved that he seemed to be a some who really loved his work.He drived direct to work he didn't want to waste more time he really needed to get at work and get the updates about the criminals.That issue had made him not feel settled at all.He used less time that day to get at work and in few minutes time he was already at work.To his suprise all the guards were still there both the night and day guards .They all opened the gate for him and they were all smiling at him and looked like they had something they really wanted to say.He packed his car and then joined them.Hey good morning John said,any new updates concerning the criminals he asked.They all looked at him with a smile and then Hussein who was the head of the guards decided to talk.Sir yesterday the officers from the security authority came they packed their car here and we covered it to avoid anyone from suspecting they are here,they weared green clothes then went outside and covered themselves with tree branches and leaves.We agreed to work together.The officers asked us to act like we were sleeping.The criminals came at their usual time and were not suspecting anything new .They used the elastic ladders and they all climbed up to check what was going on in the company.When they were up the officers slowly picked their bags which they had kept their weapons.By the time the criminals were getting down their bags were missing.They decided to go round to look at them .By the time they were back even their ladders were missing.The officers then decided to play strange sounds that were only heard in hilarious movies .The criminals got really scared.They said that your demons were after them they run away screaming.They said that yours demons had taken their items and now they were back to swallow them arrive.The officers had managed to record everything and they said that they will call you later in the day.By the time Hussein was finishing to explain John was already laughing.What a good way to deal with the criminals .He somehow got relaxed he knew there was no way they could try to come near his premises any time soon.His demons were going to swallow them alive he said to himself and smiled.He then entered in the company he greeted everyone and then went direct to his office.He opened his laptop to see whether he had any an answered emails.Rachael looked bored she did not like the fact that John was starting to ignore her and was starting to treat her equally with the other staffs.Maybe it's because of the current situation that had kept the whole company in tension she said to herself.She comforted herself and continued with her work.Everyone tried to work within the new working hours and still achieve the best results.The new routine also made Rachael and Nancy to work even more they had to attend to every client that got in the company and offer them the quality services.She really dint like and John seemed to be just okay with that.There was a phone ringing it was in John's office.He picked it up.Hello we are calling from security authority office we want you to come to our offices at 10 o'clock to discuss the matter concerning the insecurities in your company,I will avail myself at that time Peter said.It was at 9:30 am ,he had few minutes remaining to be at their offices.He finished answering the email he had just opened.He called Ken his driver to take him out.He got in the car and they left the company.Hey Ken i want you to take me to the security authority offices again.Okay sir this time Ken knew why his boss was visiting this offices.He drived carefully,Ken was a type of a driver who dint like over speeding.He valued his life and the life of his boss.In few minutes time they were already at the security authority offices.The guars at the gate opened the gate for them and welcomed them in.Ken packed the car and John went direct in the office this time he was familiar with the place he didn't want anyone's guidance.He knocked the door.Yes mr John come in and have a sit.How are you this morning the officer in black suit greeted him.Am good John said.The reason as to why i called you this morning,he started yesterday we sent some of our officers to come for operation and they recorded some videos and some audios.so i want you to carefully listen to them and also watch the videos.He started with the audios and then went to videos.He said i understand that the video was funny and looks like a comedy.There is something that caught my attention and that's why I called you.From the audios this criminals had a plan of kidnapping you.For as much as they were scared to go near your company premises your personal security still remains a concern.Just like us how we do our investigations this criminals are very smart and they also do their owb investigations.With me here is also some of the things we found from their bags.He weared the gloves to avoid traces of fingerprints and then started removing them one by one.There are four guns full of bullets,sharp knives and drugs who were used to spray people to make them sleep or become unconscious.John could not believe what he was seeing and hearing.The officer continued this is a clear evidence that this criminals maybe having connections with some people who are very prominent because the question of how they have managed to get the guns still remains answered.So we as officers will continue doing our investigations and you have to continue taking good care of yourself avoid going to crowded places alone , don't drive yourself, avoid moving around at late hours .We are also going to give you a licenced gun which you should always carry everywhere you went.John had not seriously thought about this matter.It was now clear to him how his own life was in danger .The officer called him in a hidden room,here is your personal gun the license is inside that box.Am going to show you how to use a gun,how to put the bullets inside and how to aim at your target.Its now your turn to do all the things i gave showed you the officer said but he first gave him some gloves to wear.John was shaking he had never seen a gun before leave alone touching it but he had to do it for the sake of his own life.He carefully repeated all the instructions of the officer.He managed to remember all the instructions and the officer congratulated him for been a quick learner.He handed him his packed gun and told him stay safe John.He then left their offices he had spent alot time in the office.John then realised that he had to start having his own privacy he didn't have to share everything with people around.He at once noticed he was a prominent person and that's why he was facing such challenges.Not everyone was proud of his achievements.He went back in the car where Ken was still standing he looked at him expecting John to say anything but he remained silent.Drive me back at work John said and then concentrated on his phone.John noticed that he had to adapt a new life style.This time he was still thinking on how he would he carrying his gun and license and how he was going to explain all those things to his wife.In few minutes time they were back in the company everyone was expecting him to call for a meeting and say something but he remained silent and said all is well and the company was safe.He said people were free to be leaving the company at their normal hours.He then told Dennis to be taking charge of the company when he was away but did not say anything more.He went in his office he was tired and hungry already he picked his lunch box and ate the snacks his wife had packed for him he now felt better and had the energy to enable him to keep going before it was time to go home.He looked at the box with the gun and said this are some of the things that I list expected to have in my life.He tried to concentrate on his work but it was hard to concentrate he stood up locked the office and took a nap .At home Stacy was all set for the day she had her laptop and other necessary books she thought they would need in the meeting.She then settled down and waited for her visitors.At last there was a knock at the door,Stacy definitely knew it was her visitors.She went and opened for them .They all looked so amazing and for sure they looked like the models they were.Welcome in Stacy said they all got in and made themselves comfortable.Stacy then served them tea and some snacks .She placed them on the table and told them welcome for breakfast.She said you need energy to work.They enjoyed the snacks she had made .Peter asked are you the one who prepared these snacks? Stacy said yes.I will be coming here for breakfast everyday they are so delicious they all laughed.They finished the breakfast Stacy cleared the table and they were set to start working.Peter placed his laptop on the table and displayed some of the samples of the new magazine for Stacy to see.This is amazing.He also displayed some of the clothes designs that this wonderful models had managed to come up with.Stacy said i love them this models are amazing and i dont regret having them in our company.Continue with your good work Stacy told them.She then asked them what is the title of the new magazine?She asked its like this question got them an aware and they had not yet thought about it.The shadow Peter decided to help them.Stacy again asked why the shadow what makes you think that it is a suitable title for our magazine someone else to answer me.One of the models raised up her hand.This is because everything we are doing, nurturing people's talents,creating awareness all this reflects back on our society.Thank you for your brilliant answer stacy said.But to add on that if at all we are all going to stick to this title the shadow it calls for more work and more dedication.Your work has to really reflect on the society.Yes you have to go in the cities,you have to go in the villages and identify the talents that are there especially in young kids.You have to come up with a solution on how to nurture their talents and after nurturing them you have to know what to do with this innocent souls.At this time the whole room was silent they had not deeply thought about all this things.Stacy said i support the title THE SHADOW i will help you get one of the best photographers to help in getting the best pictures to be used in the magazine.When you are ready to start please let me.They all agreed the new models looked suprised they were not expecting such a tax.Stacy told them its fun especially for someone who loved travelling and someone who loved adventure.Yes they said it will be such a good opportunity to explore new places the models said.Stacy asked them then when do you think it will be a suitable time to start this.They agreed two days were enough to prepare and get ready.Today is Monday Stacy said so on Thursday i will send a photographer in the company to go with you.Peter is going to cater for your transportation and other things that will be required during the trip.Now anyone with a question and Peter do you have something to add .They all nodded their head.Okay then if there is nothing to add allow me to close this meeting .We are now free to leave.Stacy picked her laptop and books and left the room.Peter was still looking at her as if expecting something more but he noticed she was married and this was her husband's place.In few minutes time Stacy was back with different clothes and was ready to start her house chores.They stood up ready to leave she told them i know my husband is about to come i want to start preparing dinner she said.Its okay Peter said,thank you your time and thank you for the delicious breakfast.Stacy said you are welcome have a safe journey she told them.The new guard opened the gate for them and they left.Stacy got in the kitchen washed the dishes ,cleaned the floor and then started preparing dinner.She had noticed how husband sounded harsh that morning and she did not want to upset him.He prepared for him his favourite meal traditional smashed potatoes and beef stew.she then cut some fruits.She placed them all on the dining table.It was at 6 am in the evening,Stacy heard a knock at the door she thought it was Sam they new guard who had come to check whether supper was ready.She went to open the door.It was John her husband holding a box he looked so exhausted and worried I hugged him and said come in honey i dint use to bother much when he came back from work but I just found myself giving him a hug.I helped him to carry the things he was carrying and took them in the bedroom I then removed the lunch box from his bag and did not bother to check what was in the box.Honey Stacy called go and shower ,i have prepared your favourite meal.He lazily went to shower and joined Stacy in the dining room.Stacy served the meals for them to eat ,she noticed she had a problem with beef stew ,she tried to behave normally but she couldn't she run in the toilet and started vomiting.Stacy wondered what was wrong with her .John just smiled he sensed that she might be pregnant and he had wished to have a child.
