Chapter 9

Third person's pov:

They had returned back to karachi . Didnt matter what zara did to infuriate meer, he wasnt giving in .

At night , the weather was really bad . It was stormy outside . Zara was really scared of this kind of weather .

Zara moved out of the room.she couldnt see any servant , it was late at night .meer was sleeping next door.zara didnt want to take his help.but begrudgingly , she knocked at his door multiple times .

" yes?" Meer's sleepy voice came .

Zara entered the room . Meer sat and raised an eyebrow at her .

" i - i cant sleep alone in that room . I dont like this weather" zara said and quickly moved towards him .

Meer smiled after thinking about her being scared of storms .

" sleep here " meer said and laid down . Zara was moving towards the sofa when meer stopped her .

"Not there . Sleep beside me " meer said . Zara knew that she didnt have any other option than listening to him .

She sighed and laid down beside her .

After that day , no discussion was made but zara started sleeping beside him . Meer was really happy about them sharing a room .

One day, zara called meer and told him that she was going to her friend's house . Meer didnt say anyhthing.

It was evening and zara was still not home . She wasnt picking her phone as well . Around 7 pm , zara came back .

Meer saw a guy drop her .

" who dropped you ?" Meer asked her .

" i am not answerable to you " zara said while moving towards her room .

She was going to close the door when meer entered the room .

" yes , YOU are answerable to me . I dont use my rights on you , doesnt mean i cant " meer said while holding her hand .

" my friend dropped me . I told you , i was with my friend " zara said after thinking something .

Meer pushed her towards the door while holding her arms .he placed his lips on hers and started kissing her lips roughly .

Zara was completely shocked . Meer moved back and looked in her eyes . Meer eyes were getting bloody red .

" meri nahi hona chahti to koi bat ni

Kisi r k bary me socha bhi to sb kuch jla dunga "

(If you dont want to be mine , then its ok .

But if you even think about someone , i will end up burning everything ) meer said and left the room.

Zara regretted lying to him . She sighed and went to change her clothes .

Meer didnt talk to her afterwards . Zara tried to made him talk or even shout at her but he didnt .

Meer's back was towards her in the bed . " meer" zara said after sometime .

" i was with alia( her friends name ) the whole time . It was zeeshan bhai ( alia's brother ) who came to drop me . " zara explained .

Meer sighed and lied on his back .

" why did you lie then "

Zara kept quite . Meer continued " zara, doesnt matter how much you hate me . Never lie about such thing again . I wont be able to handle , anyone questioning your character . Theres nothing more important then a girl's respect" meer said and zara nodded this time .

Zara knew , she did wrong by lying .

After sometime , she heard meer saying "sorry for kissing you .i_ i didnt know what i was doing in anger ." Zara kept her eyes closed . She didnt want to talk about this .

Zara's feelings were changing for him . She was seeing his good side as well . He wasnt perfect . He had some good habits as well as bad ones . But she was starting to accept him with all his flaws , his rules , his way of handling stuff .

But she had yet to accept her own feeling towards him .
