Chapter Five

I bent down then rush to get two plates, since that's all I could carry, and walk beside Simon. I look back at Shane and he winked at me. I shiver in disgust and rolled my eyes.

"I told you to stick with me." Simon whispered.

"Yeah but you also said only when Jericho is around." I whispered back and he didn't say another word.

On the other hand, Shane and Psalm pick up a plate of their own, two each while Rain pick the last plate.

I followed Simon to the dining room where once again, was so big and I saw maybe the rest of his siblings already there. As soon as we came in through, everyone looked at us like we're the most popular people in the whole world! It was creepy actually.

The only person who I recognised that was siting around the table was Jericho. He fully smirk at me while licking his lip and once again, it sent chills down my spine.

Simon placed the four plates in front of four different people so I did the same with two different people while Shane and Psalm did the same. On the other hand, Rain sat down with the only plate that he was holding.

In the end, there was a seat that was not occupied and a plate was placed there. I then remembered earlier that Leo said he had a meeting today, so I was wondering who was the extra plate is for.

"What you waiting for? Eat!" Simon said and I gave him a puzzled look.

"He wants you to sit down and eat." A black haired girl with an eye glass on instructed.

"O-oh, o-okay." I sat where the extra plate was placed in which was beside Simon.

Everyone looked at me as I pick up my spoon and fork. It's like I'm a spotlight that's shining! It was really weird. But after I have a spoonful in my mouth, everyone did their own thing and chattering filled the room.

"My name is Stella, nice to meet you." The one who made me eat said.

"I'm Danielle." A blonde with blue eyed woman said.

One by one they introduced themselves.

"Trisha." Another blonde hair and hazel eyed woman said.

"Yow I'm Ralph." Black haired and light brown eyed guy.

"Nice to meet you all, my name is Sarah Stronghold." I introduce myself with a smile.

"Alright let's it!" Shane exclaimed and everyone continued eating their meal.

But before I can start mine, I stopped Simon.

"You gonna eat with your hat on?" I ask him.

"Yes." He simply replied.

"You can't though, you should remove it because it's a respect for the food." By now everyone is staring at us again.

"No one tells me what to do." He slightly glare at me.

"Then I will not eat your food." I challenged him and he was silent for a moment before he removed his hat and placed it on his lap.

I heard someone gasp but it might have been my imagination. When I looked around everyone went back to what they were doing.

When we're almost finished, Simon leaned in to me and I saw some of his siblings glancing at us.

"What you have next?" He whispered in my ear and I remembered what I have next.

"Clean the dishes." I whispered back and looked at the time.

That's when I realise that everyone was looking at us but I ignored them.

It was now 9:00 am and we're thirty minutes earlier on my schedule. When everyone was finished with their meal, I started collecting plates, which Simon did as well. I could feel all eyes on me.

Normal POV

When Simon and Sarah left, the dining room became quiet as they make sure that they're really gone. When they're really gone, everyone looked at each other.

"Alright, a meeting in my room." Danielle said and left while the rest followed her.

"So, do you think she's the one?" Shane asked when everyone was in the room.

"She seems nice." Anna replied.

"She got the look as well." Trisha added.

"She should learn how to cook though." Psalm scoff.

"But if she does, then Simon won't be the one who's cooking anymore. I love Simon's dish." Ralph grinned.

"True. But I wonder what she did to make him cook. I mean, he hasn't cook until... that day." Shane rubbed his chin and after he said that, everyone remained quiet.

"So are you in or not?" He broke the silence again.

"What about the marriage? Leo would not like this." Trisha sigh reminding everyone about the arranged marriage that Simon has to go through.

"Damn. Totally forgotten about that one." Shane click his finger "But if we can convince our father, then he might reconsider it."

"Though..." Anna trailed off then sigh. "It's going to be hard and it will feel like war."

"Why?" Rain questioned.

"Knowing my father, he's all about keeping the bond with the others and knowing my brother Simon, he despite girls but when it comes to his father, he obeys him when he has no choice anymore."

"If Simon despite girls, then why did she help the new maid?" Danielle ask like if it was the most obvious question in the whole world.

"Maybe they had a deal. Normally Simon won't help or obey the others if there's no deal being made." Anna replied.

"Must be some kind of a deal to get Simon take his hat off. I mean, not even Leo can make him remove it right?" Psalm explained.

"True so whatever deal they had, I'll get to the bottom of it. That hat is from his mother that's why he never removed it." Danielle commented.

"I see, so it's settled then. We will help Sarah. Okay, here's the plan..." Shane went on to his genius plan and everyone listened carefully.

Little did they know that Jericho left quietly out of the room without anyone noticing.

Sarah's POV

"And that's how you use dishwasher." Simon just finished explaining on how to use the dishwasher.

Pressing this and that and that and this and that just made my mind blown because there were heaps of steps that I couldn't remember.

"You know what's better?" I took the sponge and started filling the sink with water. "Hand washing them and this time I'll show you how to do it."

"You making it harder." He complained as he rub one of the plates with the blue sponge that he was holding.

"No, I'm going to make it fun." I said and he looked at me.

I could see in his eyes that he was searching for an answer on how hand-washing the dishes would be so fun. I look down the sink and saw lots of bubbles so I scoop it out and smiled evilly.

I look at him again and saw him putting the plate on the rack and when he turned around, I wipe the bubbles on his nose. He was shock at first but realise what have I done and he looked at me.

"Why you..." He growled and the next thing I knew, I was covered with water, soap and bubbles.

He smirk at me and I glared at him but laugh as well. That's when I realise that he splashed the water at me.

"You wanna play it that way? So be it." I said and while he wiping the bubbles on his nose, I scooped a big amount of bubbles in my hand and I wipe it on his face.

It took him a while before he realises what happened and I was already running away from him. He ran after me with a hand full of bubbles and I might say, he's really fast.

I know I already had a head start running away from him but when I look back, he was already there. He didn't hesitate to wipe the bubbles on my face and he laughed at my reaction. I smiled as I see him laughing and I wipe the remaining bubbles on his face that I got from my face.

"Now wasn't that fun?" I ask him and he nods.

"Yeah... fun..." his laughter was fading away.

As soon as he stops laughing, another idea popped into my head. I smiled at him and he gave me a puzzled look. I then, as fast as I can, grabbed his hat then ran away. Although when I looked back he disappeared from sight.

"Simon?" I called him but he didn't respond.

I walk around for a while before I saw a certain black haired guy dash towards me and the next thing I knew, Simon trapped me on the wall. I could feel his warm breath on my face and our face was too close from each other.

This time, I could clearly see his mesmerising grey eyes and his smooth face. My eyes travelled down his nose until it landed on his soft lips. I only realise that my heart was beating so fast and loud that it seems like it would jump out of my chest anytime now.

No one moved. We were just staring into each other's eyes. Suddenly, I notice that his face was getting closer and closer until it got to the point where our lip was only two centimetres away from each other when someone fake cough.
