Chapter 3: I Need Him

 When we are sitting on the couch. I was holding my chest again, why is my heart beat so fast right now .I grab Rina’s glass that she should drink and I drunk it instead.

 “Ugh.” I was conscious. It was bitter then! I’m not really into alcohol.

 "Hey Phia I thought you don’t like alcohol." Rina asked, the alcohol that I was drinking is not effective to lose the nervous I felt even we had drink the same cocktail, it beats so loud and at the same time it feels like something penetrating my heart.

 "Oh yes girl you’re right! What are you doing? If you like then lets order." Said Nikka. I was grinding.

 "No. I’m fine girls don’t worry." I lied, I know that I’m not okay, do I have a problem now inside my chest? Why my heart is being like this. The two look frustrated. 

 "Are you okay?" Asked Nikka while she’s coming very closely. She look worried. 

“You know Phia if this is all about lately, I would do anything just to get even with those two.” I let a small laugh.

 “It’s okay. Don’t worry I’ll be fine and its not about them. I don’t know maybe I have to pee again.” I said out of consciousness. All I’m thinking is to get back where I saw him.

 "Hey, why are you sweating?" Asked Rina and hold my arms. Well I think because of what I’ve drunk. It’s getting hot here inside even its air-conditioned.

 "I’m okay. My chest suddenly snapped." I answered to both of them and drink again of Rina’s alcohol. My eyes wide open when I felt so dizzy. I have to stand up!

 "Are you sure that you are okay?" I nodded. When the two stop bugging me. I suddenly dazed, and I don’t know but it feels like there’s something pulling my attention to look back over there, when I saw him kissing someone else. I don’t know it’s weird, this is a very strange feeling and that's unpredictable. I don’t care if he’s kissing someone else. Why would I care? He’s not my friend, boyfriend even my type. 

 "Ahmm.. Girls just a second!" I said. It’s so unpredictable but I want to go back again. Maybe I was mistaken to what I saw, but I don’t care if he really is. But I saw him looking back at me with surprise.

 "Oh wait, where are you going?" Asked Rina. They dropped down their glasses and about to stand up to accompany me. 

 "If you want we can accompany you." Nikka offered.

 "No need, I’m fine okay? I’ll be back.” I said and stand up, I’m still dizzy but still I can manage myself. They look worried I notice how they look at me but they just nodded their head. I was standing, but every step I felt so heavy. And I don’t know why. I breathe deeply and start to walk fast. I take a sit on a stool bar where I saw him. And I was surprised he was there, nothing change. They are almost making out. I hold my chest and I felt that penetrating in my heart again. My chest tightens. When they stop kissing, he saw me again. So I avoid looking at them, maybe because of what he thinks. And yes I’m sure right now that he is the one I saw awhile ago. From here, I watched some other couple smooching. 

 "Hey miss." I turned then suddenly someone touched my legs. 

 "PERVERT!!!" Then I slapped him.

 "f**k!" The ugly guy that looks like the nail of a monkey is about to slap me back, then suddenly someone stops him. 

 "Girls should not be treated like that!" He said with his lower voice but with authority, and took a glance at me. "Because girls should be loved and they need comfort!" He added and winked at me. I frowned at him, and avoided his gaze. I heard him chuckled, I look back to this dude who’s trying to harass me and glared at him.

 "R-Ryan!???" The guy who looks like a dead nail was so afraid to him. Ryan twisted this dudes arms and look at me while this dude are in pain. Ryan turned this pervert face to me.

 “Look at her, she’s beautiful right? She’s very seductive. But…” After saying this he twisted more his arms that made him body twist and his face becomes more ugly. 

“She’s different among others.” Ryan added. I felt something again inside my chest when he added that. “Say sorry to her.” I was only looking to Ryan who’s now enjoying this dude.

 “Sorry miss. It would never happen again. Sorry sorry.” I look back to this pervert and nodded. 

 "Get lost!" He throw the hand of this pervert. So that he runs away from us, then Ryan faced me. I was about to say thank you when he said something that made me pissed. "If you don’t want to caught an attention of a guy, specially not in the way you wanted. Don't wear it again..." He whispered in my ear. And I felt goosebumps. "Don't wear a seductive dress again or else, I'll drive you home and....." I didn’t let him to finish when I snapped his ears. “Ouch.” 

"Don't you ever come near me again! I don’t need you! In fact I can take care of myself to that ugly guy!" I said it with raising my eyebrow and throw his ear. He seemed so pissed-off! But I don’t care. I stand up from the stool bar were I was sitting and I went back to my friends. 

 "Ugh! You still not paying your debt and now you owe me more!" He shouted. "I'll make sure, that you will pay for this!" I laughed at him. When I was closely near to Nikka and Rina, they are lying on the couch, ugh they’re drunk! 

 "Hey Nikka..Rina!" I slightly tapped their faces. "Hey wake up!!!!" I look what time on my cell phone , it’s 3:00am. s**t! I scratched my head, what will I’m going to do with these two!? I cannot carry them. 

 "Need my help?" Someone said behind my back so I turned around to know who he is. But then I rolled my eyes when I knew it was Ryan, standing behind with his to hands inside his pocket.

 "I can carry them. They will wake up later." I said without looking. Ugh Girls wake up I whispered to these two drunk ladies, knowing these two I know they will wake up tomorrow in the morning, my geez what Am I going to do now! They are snoring. I slapped them again but they seemed so sleepy. 

 "Okay!" Ryan was about to leave. I look back at him even its really hard for me to ask his help, I will swallow my pride this time just to make sure, we’ll get to our houses as soon as possible.

 "Wait!" He stop and looked at me with his teasing smile, there is no way that I can do, in fact he insisted to help right? Even though it is hard for me to do this, there is nothing I can do, I'm sure tomorrow these two are already awake.

 "Ugh! They are so heavy!" He complaints while carrying Rina who is snoring and me carrying Nikka who is also drunk. I sighed. I saw Rina and Nikka who is scratching their faces but still sleeping. Hayy girls, you two really still sleeping ha? Rina’s arms are around his neck. He’s right, even they are fit, they’re still heavy. But I never complain. 

 "Do not complain. You insisted to help." I said, I’m pissed-off because he is complaining and complaining. I want to put some crampled paper in his mouth so that he stop complaining.

 "But I’m telling the truth!” I rolled my eyes to him. He just flash an annoying smile again. “You owe me more again." He said while humming, he look contented and happy but wait what is he talking about I thought he help me out because he wanted to help me, sincerely. 

 "What? How did I owe you? Why? Are we close? And I thought you help me because you have a soft heart that wanted to help." I think he’s crazy! Definitely crazy! 

 "Because of you I cannot go to my dates." He said. I stop walking, because we are going to the Car Park.

 "How arrogant! After you walk us to the car, you can go!" I said to him. "Date date, you jerk, are you not afraid to caught an Aids?” I said and I heard him chuckled.

 "Oh come on! Can’t you see? Handsome rich guy? Is it wrong when someone fulfilling my needs? In fact they offer themselves in me, so who I’m to refuse?" My blood quickly flushed because of what he said. So jerk. He’s really an arrogant pervert guy. Why on earth I encountered this jerk.

 "I don't care!" I said. To be honest there’s a part of me are thankful to him, he defended me awhile ago that made me feel a bit comfortable towards him. Rare right? But yea he is still a jerk for me. I still don’t understand my self I don’t even know why I have to make sure if he was the guy kissing that girl. And now he’s with me carrying my friends to the car park. He cut me off while thinking those and he say something that made me annoyed again.

 "If you want, you can be my date. We can stay at my condo because I'm sure that the two girls are waiting for me at the hotel that I reserved for them. They might be see us if I brought you there!!! Oh.. it is a Joke!" He said when I was about to punch him.

 "I'm not one of your girls so don't treat me like the way you treat them!" I said, is he insulting me? Am I look one of the bitches there? I compose myself trying not to argue with him. I thought he saw me different? I just shook my head a little and focus to my friends who’s still sleeping. When I saw Nikka’s car that we used, I quickly open the door and find the key in Nikka’s pocket. We put my friends in the back seat. They are still sleeping I sighed seeing them like this, they are really drunk to slept like this, then I face Ryan.

 "Thank you. You can leave! You can now go to your cheap dates!" I said, he just nodded and his lips form a smile, a sweet smile, I shook my head when I realize I was staring intently in his lips so before he notice I avoid my glance. Focus Phia! “Go ahead.” I said again pushing him away, I thought he has a date. So maybe he’s in a hurry. I saw his eyes looking straight to me very intently, I don’t know what he is thinking, at this moment I feel something inside me, when our eyes meet in a second we’re not talking just staring to each other, it seems like we have a connection. In that moment I avoid his gaze, because of that thought. So I went to driver's seat. I'm about to start the engine when I remember something. No! My subconscious said. No way! I looked outside, and he’s still standing there. How we are going to leave. I don’t know how to drive.

I looked outside and he still standing there, wearing his smirked. He’s now being a jerk again. I started to bite my lower lip and get off the car. All that matters right now is to get in our house ASAP!

"Why?" He asked while smiling widely as if he didn’t know what is happening. I didn’t respond at him, I just throw the key to him and go to the passenger seat because the two were still sleeping at the back.

I’m just looking straight at the road. Then suddenly he knocked at the window in front of me. I opened it.

"What I’m I going to do with this?" I clenched my jaw, he’s pissing me off again but behave and be patient Phia, I am the one who need a favor so patient, he’s asking me while waving the key outside the car. I just looked at him. "I have dates!" He complaints.

"I don't care, just drive for us!" I raised my voice to him this jerk pissing me off too much. I know that he know what I’m trying to say when I gave him the key.

"Ugh! Fine! But promise me one thing." He said while smiling, and I felt so scared. I don’t trust him with this.

"Stop looking at me like that!" I said.

"Well it’s fine with me whether you like it or not, I’m going to leave. Here’s your key!" He gave me the key and turned around to go away. I looked at my friends at the back seat and they’re not looked comfortable. I maybe looked bad if I’m going to think my pride first, I quickly get out of the car and throw the key in his back.

"Ouch that hurts!" He felt the key in his head, and he glared at me. "What’s wrong with you!!" I don’t mind if he’s mad. I went to him.

"What do you want?" I asked. After I say that he suddenly flashed a smile and change his mood in a second. I'm not really sure about this, I dont trust him.

"Secret!" He said as he walk towards me and come close his face to mine, I flinched in what he did. I felt so scared, because maybe there is something bad that this jerk is thinking. I don’t want to take any risk with this stranger. "It seems you don’t want too! Fine if you say so!" He added when I paused for a second then he turned around again. I suddenly closed my eyes, and think about my mother, she needed me right now, I don’t want her to stay longer from others.

"Fine!" While my fist and eyes are closed. After I say that! He looks quiet contented.

“What are you waiting for? Lets go!” He pulled me to the car. He looks like stupid because his laugh doesn’t match his personality.

After we drive Rina and Nikka home.

"I’m going to commute." I said, we first drive Rina home then Nikka because she was the owner of the car.

"Who says you’re going home?" He asked. Then suddenly I feel nervous. He’s now very serious! I don’t see any joke in his eyes, I just feel his intimidating look.

"We already drop them home right? So I’m going home and thank you.” I said try not to stutter.

"No! You are not going anywhere. Because as a favor you will be with me tonight." I suddenly swallowed of what he said. Our eyes stick when he said those words that made my heart beat so fast!Chat Conversation EndType a message...
