“You’re late,” Mary said as I signed in at work the next morning. I felt my face heat. “What?” Mary got that twinkle in her eye. I knew I’d have to tell her something. Involuntarily I rubbed at my wrists. When Mark had awoken he wanted to take advantage of the extra time Daphne had given him, so out came my ties again, with me on the receiving end, so to speak.
