Dinner Part 1

***Eli POV

"Eli hurry up we're going to be late and your dad will kill us if we are. HURRY UP!!!" Felix screamed from the enternece of our pack house.

I'm coming. How do I look? I might not be husband of the year to her but I still want to look good". "Dude don't be bogus. She didn't have a choice either. Give her a chance." Felix reply with a straight face as I get to the end of the steps. I look at him and give him a smirk and nod my head.

I can hear foot steps coming from the kitchen and it's my father with Felix's dad Beta Barak. They are talking and laughing walking towards Feliz and I. My father looks towards Felix and I and says " don't the two of yous look great. I like the suit Eli. Come on we need to get going. Can't afford to get there late and give a bad first impression." We all walk out the house and go into a big black Tahoe.

On our way there I hear my wolf Maddox talking to me: "what if shes ugly? What if she is all flat? I might not know our mate but I know that she is going to have curves. Dude what if her personality sucks, and has no sense of humor?! Dude we are so f****d"

I try and relax my wolf" "Dude relax its ok. We will deal with what we have. We are not going to be husband of the year remember. As soon as this whole wolf rogue s**t is dealt with we dipping." Maddox lets out a long howl agreeing to what I had said. It feels like we have been in the car for hours when we finally reach a big gate. I hear the driver say Alpha Alec is here to meet with the Alpha of Midnight Moon wolf pack.

BUZZZZZZZ

The gates open and there's lights in the ground lighting the way to the pack house. The forest is so big and peaceful. You can hear the crickets and little animals running threw the grass.

My wolf starts pacing back and forth. He's going insane in my head and starts to howl uncontrollably. "Hey whats up Maddox. If you howl any louder we will both go deaf." I tell him. "Mate!!! Our mate is here." Maddox tells me

We finally reach the pack house and step out the truck. I took a look around and notice the night sky, There are so many stars and the moon is in perfect view. Then I hear my wolf howl again. I smooth out my suit and start walking towards the door with Beta Barak, my father, and Felix. The closer I get to the door the more Maddox howls. My father rings the door bell and a omega opens the door.

Welcome gentlemen I am Ms. Anderson. Welcome to the Midnight Moon wolf pack house.

***Alexus POV

My boys give me a big hug to make me feel better and the door bell rings. I hear Ms. Anderson talking and I look up from my group hug with the boys and say "f**k MY LIFE!". Alex looks at me and tells me to wait to go down. They they will go down first to introduce themselves and get a read off from my future family. They also want to see how he will respond to seeing me for the first time. I nod my head in agreeance.

The boys walk out of my room and start walking down the stairs and I can hear their footsteps getting farther away. Then I hear Alex say "Hi there come in my name is Alex. I am Alexus beta".

Then I hear Max "Hi there I'm Max. I'm Alexus younger brother. It's nice to meet you." then I finally hear Sam " Hi I'm Sam. I'm Alexus younger brother too." I hear the Night Shadow wolf pack introduce themselves to my boys and then I hear Alex scream "Hey Lex our guests are here. Come down."

I give my self a quick look in my mirror before heading down stairs and I notice I had no jewelry on. I scream at the boys "Max tell dad our guests are here. Sam take our guest to the dinning room. I will be down in a sec." I mind link Alex and tell him I can't find my jewelry. I hear Max and Sam say " Ok sis you got it" I reply with a quick " thank you boys". I can hear Alex tell our guests he was excusing him self for a quick second and that he will meet them in the dinning room with Sam.

Alex walks in my room and I'm in a panic putting on my medium sized gold hoop earrings that my grandmother gave me the last time I saw her. "Hey what happened you look perfect. Whats wrong?" Alex sounds confused.

"I need help with my jewelry. Can you check the my music box on my desk and see if my gold bracelet is in there with a gold and a sliver necklace please."

Alex walks over and I can hear the music from my box and then it stops. He walks over to me to hand me my bracelet and my necklaces. I put it on my bracelet first on my right wrist and then I put on my necklaces. I give him a big hug and re-walk to my mirror and say "Max was right I do clean up good".

My navy dress is flowy but it hugs my latin curves great, and the sweet heart neck line is just right. I mean the spaghetti straps add a little sexy to it. My boobs are nice and perky and I can tell I wont have any nip slips tonight. My ass looks great. It's perky and round in my dress. And my make-up is simple but elegant. My hair is my actually cooperating with me too. My straight chocolate color hair is flipped to the right side of my head and its full of volume. I love it. I turn around to look at Alex with a big smile and say "Ok now I think I'm ready. Lets go before I puke." Alex laughs at me and takes me by my arm and gives me a kiss in my cheek.

We walk down the stairs and I can smell the food and it smells so good. It's completely mesmerizing. I walk into the dinning room and see Ms. Anderson. She walks up to me and give me a big hug and spins me around. She might be only be 5 feet tall but her heart is golden.

" Oh sweetie look at you. I haven't seen you this dress up in a very very long time. You look so beautiful. David would be proud of you." She give me a big hug and says let me go check on the food. I don't want to burn your favorite. She smiles at me while I give her a big smile and nod my head.

After Ms. Anderson walks away I can see four bodies at the dinning room table with my brother Sam. I start walking towards the men at the table with Alex when Max comes up behind me and says "Hey sis dad says hes on his way down with Beta Liam. He needs to finish some pack stuff first." I give my brother a quick nod.

I finally reach the table and Sam gets up walks towards me and gives me a kiss on my cheek and a big hug while saying "hey sis. You look great." I smile at my little brother.

I finally introduce my self to the men and I see these two guys who around my age and man are they cute. "Hi there my name is Alexus Valentina Botello and alpha to be for the Midnight Moon pack. It's a pleasure meeting you gentlemen today." I stick out my hand for a hand shake from each one.

One of the young guys had a dirty blond hair that looked like the color I had when I was little with charcoal grey eyes. He looked about 6'7 maybe. He had a nice dark navy blue suit on. The Alpha looked like a older version of him. The other young guy also had a suit but he was a little shorter that the 6'7 guy. This guy had brown hair with hazel eyes and the alphas beta looked like him too. I was able to tell these guys were father son duos.

***Eli POV

An omega opens the door saying her name is Ms.Anderson. I see three guys coming down the stairs and give Ms. Anderson a smile and she walks away as if they excused her.

The first guy is about 6'6. He has blue eyes and brown hair, and he is wearing a casual suit. He finally introduces him self "Hi there come in my name is Alex. I am Alexus beta". We walk into the house and I get the amazing smell of fruit. Maddox goes insane in my head. He howls with pleasure and excitement. It smells like fruit he says. I agree with him and tell him that it smells like mangos, strawberries, apples, and a bakery all in one.

I zone out for about a minute or two and then I hear a younger looking kid look at me and say "Hi there I'm Max. I'm Alexus younger brother. It's nice to meet you." and sticks out his hand to give us four a handshake. Then I finally hear a younger looking version of Max say " Hi I'm Sam. I'm Alexus younger brother too." and he also sticks out his hand. I shake all of their hands and introduce myself.

I hear the Alex guy look at the stair case by the door going up and scream "Hey Lex our guests are here. Come down."

I hear a sweet voice scream back and start giving orders. It was the most adorable thing in the world. "Max go tell dad our guests are here. Sam take our guest to the dinning room. I will be down in a sec." The guys scream back "ok sis. You got it. " and I hear the sweet voice again say " Thank you boys".We start heading to the dinning room when Alex excuses him self as if something was wrong.

He had the scent of my mate on him. All the guys had her scent once I thought about it. I was angry. Maddox started growling non stop.

My beta Felix mind linked me:"Dude you ok? You got tense all of a sudden. What's up?" I tell him I'm fine I just thought it was rude that that she didn't even come down to introduce her self.

Felix reply's "Dude we're a hour early and shes a girl. Girls take hours to get ready relax." I nod my head at him and give him a little chuckle.

We walk in to the dinning room with Sam and he has us take a seat while saying "My sister will be down in a minute. You know how girls are. If she doesn't lose her gym shoe she forgets a hair tie. Would you gentlemen like something to drink? We have hard liquor, pop, water, juice".

We all chuckle at his statement of his sister and my dad says he and beta Barak will have a glass of whiskey. Then he looks at Felix and I:"we will have water thank you".

Sam walks away to get us our drinks as I start to get a stronger smell of my mate. I can smell how beautiful she is.

I see the omega Ms.Anderson walk towards the entrance of the dinning room and give a girl big hug. Shes a little taller than the omega. Then I see her twirl her and her dress lifts up a little bit, it's like a little tease. I can tell it's a flowy dress. Ms. Anderson tells the girl something but I can't hear what she says and then she walks away. The girl comes in locking arms with Alex. Sam goes up to her and gives her a hug and a kiss while he says "Hey sis. You look great".

I still can not get a good view of the girl. But when Sam finally moves away from her, I felt my heart drop. Maddox goes ape s**t in my head. I can hear him howling as loud as he can. I see Max come up behind her telling her: "Hey sis dad says hes on his way with beta Liam. But he had to finish some pack stuff first." She looks annoyed but doesn't really show it and smiles on.

"That's her. That's our mate. She smells so good it's like fruit. Look at those curves. She is amazing. Go get her. Why is holding on to that Alex guy? Shes ours! Don't f**k this up." Maddox says. I tell him that I have to play it cool. I don't want to freak her out and remind him that he's her beta. Maddox howls one last time agreeing with me.

The girl walks up to us. She starts to introduce her self "Hi there. My name is Alexus Valentina Botello and I'm alpha to be for the Midnight Moon Pack. It's a pleasure meeting you gentlemen today." She takes out her hand and shakes my father's hand first and he introduces us: "Hi there my name is Alpha Alec from the Night Shadow wolf pack. This is my beta Barak. My son and alpha Elijah and his beta Felix." We all shake her hand one at a time. As soon and she touches my hand it's like static. I feel it tingle and think man she has a good grip for a female. I keep a straight face the whole time.

She walks over to the other side of the table and starts to pull out her chair. She looks up and asks "Did Sam get you guys your drinks already? Would you like something else while we wait for dinner?"

My father answers her "No thank you sweetie your brother was a great host. But I would like to get to know you a little more. If you don't mind?"

She takes a seat and her beta sits on her left side and Sam takes a seat on the right to her as if they were protecting her. While Max sat across from her doing the same thing. She looks at my father and says "Sure I don't mind what would like to know?"

My father starts by trying to cut the tension by making a joke about her and losing her shoes so he says "Is it true you lose your shoes and forget you hair ties?"

She gives a little giggle and her cheeks turn a red/pink color from being embarrassed. But she looks at her brothers and Alex and says "Which one of yous said that?" while pointing at each one of them.

She then turns to face my father saying: "Yes it's true. But to my defense I'm so busy making sure my boys are at their training on time that I forget where I put my gym shoes for my own training and Alex usually has my back with my hair ties right Alex."

Alex looks at her and laughs while saying: "Again what would you do with out me. I mean you would have no one to give you your hair ties before training."

She starts laugh and says "Like I told you earlier today I would probably be in a ditch in the middle of no where or I would be shopping until I drop. Just saying." Her laugh is so contagious that we all start laughing. My dad looks at me and says I like her and Felix gives me a thumbs up.

Then her father shows up with his beta. Her dad is 6'9 with curly hair but she looks so much like him. They walk up to my father and greets him then they greet Barak, me, and Felix. Her father takes his seat at the head of the table while his beta sits next to him.

The Alpha looks at Alexus and says "Lex you look pretty who got you that dress? It's new right." She looks at him with a little sadness in her eyes like if she wants to cry but doesn't. "David bought it for me last year. He picked it out all on his own. I'm happy you like it dad"

She then looks over at me and it's like shes looking into my soul. She says "Do you have any questions for me?"

I look at and say "not yet but I'll let you know if I have any though." She nods her head saying ok.

***Conversation at the Dinner table

She looks over at Max and starts talking about Alpha training. I found it odd since she was going to be alpha her self so why would she be training her brother. I can hear her ask

"How was training with Sam? How many broken bones do you have?" as she smiles.

He reply's with a smirk and a "hahaha your funny aren't you. I don't have many broken bones. Alex made sure we didn't get hurt too bad. But did you seriously have to kill us during warm up. Like was that necessary?"

She starts laugh and looks her brother dead in the eye: "Sam was suppose to give you hell today. We'll be sparring together tomorrow so make sure your on time. And as far as the warm-up goes, did you not see part of the pack think that training was canceled. I did it to make sure everyone is trained to the best to their abilities. Complain all you want, I make it worse if that's what you want." Max looks down and gives her a big sign. She then tells him "I love you too Max". He looks up at her and says "yea yea yea. Whatever. I love you too I guess."

The conversation with her brother is funny and I am able to tell she means well but I am still really confuse as to why she is training her brother. It makes no sense.

Felix leans over next to me and "says so what do you think? Shes hot and she knows her s**t dude. Can we keep her even if she isn't your mate PLEEEAAASSSEEE?"

At that moment I look at him and say "shes really pretty but remember we are only keeping her for a little and then its duces, sayonara. If shes not our mate she will be hitting the road" That's when I feel daggers coming at me from her beta Alex. He looks pissed like if her heard me.

Felix whispers to me " Dude I think he heard you" I look at him and say "Naw dude you think so"

He then looks at Alexus and gives her a big hug and puts his arm around her. It drives me crazy. He shouldn't be hugging her like that. What the f**k is his problem. He whispers something in her ear that makes her blush. Maddox growls from seeing another guy making her happy "Kill him now. Hes touching her". I calm Maddox down and tell him no because he's her beta.

Felix links me in "Eli what's going on. Your eyes went black for a minute, like if Maddox was going to be paying us a visit for dinner." My father chimes in and says "Stop being an ass to her. She's a nice young lady. Give her a chance son."

I reply "ok dad you right. I'm sorry" and cut the link with my dad and Felix.

The food finally starts to come to the table and her eyes light up. There is chicken, with some Salmen, some soup, and some salad.

***Alex's POV

I look at our guests of honor while Lex is talking to Max about his training this morning. I can see the beta whisper something to his so called Alpha Eli

"So what do you think? Shes hot and knows her s**t dude..Can we keep her even if she isn't you mate PLEEEAAASSSEE?"

I hear Eli say: "Shes really pretty but remember we are only keeping her for a little and then its duces, sayonara, If shes not our mate them shes hitting the road."

If my looks could kill he this so called alpha would of been dead already and so would his beta. So much for trying to whisper. I heard every word these fuckers were saying. Great hes going to give her hell while they're together. Hes got balls, talking s**t right by me and her brothers, I say in my head. I look over at Lex and see she didn't even realize that Eli was talking s**t so I give her a big hug and wrap my arm around her. Its bad enough shes nervous about this dinner I don't want these fuckers to make it worse. I lean in by her ear and tell her shes doing a great job and not to forget the looks amazing. She smiles and blushes a little.

Then I notice Eli sending daggers my way. What the f**k is his problem. Hes the one who is f*****g up and talking s**t about Lex without knowing her. I'm her beta and I made a promise to her brother that I would protect his siblings but especially his sister. Shes been through hell the last year. I'll be dame if I let some fucker make her feel like s**t in front of me.

***Continued Dinner Conversation

Felix calls Alexus name "Alexus" she turns her head to look Felix in the eyes.

"Yea whats up."

"Where did your parents get the name Alexus from and how do you spell it. Is it ALEXIS or is it ALEXUS?"

She gives Felix a smile and a little chuckle. "My dad loves the car Lexus. And you spell it ALEXUS. Just like the car, all you gotta do is add an A in front of the L. My dad added the A to make it more feminine but everybody calls me Lex. You can call me Lex if you would like"

"That's cool your named after a car. Do you like cars in that case? Ok I'll call you Lex. Thanks." Felix says with a big smile

"Yea I do actually. But I'm more of a truck type of girl. I like Wranglers. They are the best. I can park my truck literally on anything. It the best honestly."

Max chimes in saying "Don't let her size fool you. She can be a total dude at times I swear. You should see her truck. Its taller than she is but she drives it like a straight up dude. She will run your ass over if you don't move out of her way while blasting her music and cussing you out. Trust me I know from experience. The positive thing about her being short is that she don't gotta crank her truck up because she fits under it easily and still have wiggle room to move around."

Everyone laughs and she throws a napkin at him with a smile and says "segule". Max laughs saying " I love you too sis"

I look at her with a confused look on my face. And blurt out "Is that Spanish" and looks at me and says " yea it is. Do you know understand the language?" I look at her and choke up. I clear my throat, blink and look down in order to relax. I re-look up at her and she gives me a sweet look and I reply no I don't I only know english and wolf link. She laughs a little and says. "Its ok I'll teach you if you want it's not hard. Just ask the boys. Honestly the swear words are the easiest way to start." I give her a little chuckle.

Felix mind links me and says "I'll let her be my spicy latin teacher. She can teach me anything." I yell at Felix through mind link "SHUT THE f**k UP FELIX. Don't be a perv and stop trying to flirt with her."

Felix reply's "Dang Eli. What's got your panties in a bunch? I thought you didn't like her? I'm sorry man.

If anyone else besides Felix talked to me that way I would of ripped their heads off. But Felix and I go way back to when we were in diapers.

"Mister Alec I have a question for you", Alexus says. She continues to say "Is it ok if I call you mister instead of Alpha?" My father nods his head and says "yea sweetie that's fine"

"So mister Alec. I mean no disrespect but I was just curious. She says. But then is interrupted by Alpha Ricardo. He says in a stern voice "Lexus stop it. We talked about this earlier. Don't start." Alexus looks at her father and says "I'm not being rude dad. I was just wondering why. I don't understand why this is happening. I'm asking him."

He shoots daggers at her while her brothers look at her with pride. She continues to speak to my father "Sorry Mister Alec. Like I was saying before. I mean no disrespect but I was curious and maybe you can help me understand why after all these years do we have to get married when our alliance with you guys has been fine. I don't get it. I mean Eli no offense you look like a great guy and everything but why?"

My father looks at her and then looks at her father while he is shaking his head. "Well sweetie this was made before you or my son were born. Your father and I were not the best of friends back in the day. We were enemies just like we were enemies with the rogues. Both packs lost many warriors to due to all the war between your father and I and the Rogues. We were out numbered so in order to trust each other we need to have a drastic contract to make sure it would not be broken. The Rogues are still doubling and so are we. Does this help?" She looks at him dissatisfied.

Alpha Ricardo start to scold her and I can feel her tense up and get angry. Her father starts by saying "Didn't I tell you we had already talked about this! Why you you disobey my direct orders?! I am your Alpha you do as I say whether you like it or not."

Lexus looks at her father and with a stern voice say "Did you just try to use your alpha voice on me? Seriously dad. There is nothing wrong with me asking Alpha Alec my question. We have been allies for year according to both alphas at the table. But how come when we needed them the most we were left stranded. David and I were only a hour off the wolf path. How do we know that their warriors couldn't get to us faster. I mind linked the pack and by the time they got there it was too late. We lost big part of our pack last year. And you think that's ok. Seriously dad."

Alpha Ricardo says "You do as I say. What happened last year happened. We can't go back and change it. Drop it and leave it alone."

Its like if she ripped her dad a new ass hole. She was sad and angry. I felt bad for her.So I call her name

"Alexus"

She turns her head and looks at me. Her eyes are really sad and you can tell she wants to cry but it's taking everything in her not too.

"I don't fully understand what happened last year to your wolf pack but I'm sorry we couldn't help. I can guarantee you that if we knew you guys needed help we would of showed up. "

Her eyes shift and there's a little sight of relief. I can feel her starting to calm down. She then tells me "Thank you that means more than you know."

I say " you don't have to thank me. I didn't do anything."

Alexus then says "You answered a important question for me and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart."

I go on and say "I hope I gave you the right answer and I really hope it's a good thing."

Alexus smiles. Her smile is to beautiful and calming. "For our alliance it's a good thing. But-" she then shifts her head to her father

"You and me are having a talk in your office after our guests leave and I come back from my run. You better not go to bed."

Her words are like daggers. She means business and it's not going to be a good conversation.

My father then starts to ask Alexus a question, "So is it ok if I call you Lex, hon?" She nods her head yes

"So Lex tell me about your self. What do you do for your pack, for you family?" She looks down and I can feel her tense up again.

"Hey its ok sis you got this. Don't cry." Max mind link me when he see's me face fall after that question.

I look up and look at Alpha Alec and start off by saying "Well I'm taking over the Alpha roll from my dad in two weeks. That alone keeps me busy. But I love being with the pack. I don't let them treat me different just because I'm their soon to be Alpha. They call me Lex too. It makes me feel humble. I'm not going to be Alpha for long though. I'm handing over the title to Max once he hits eighteen. Max being Alpha is his future, he's following our brother's foot steps. So right now I'm training him to be able to fight me for the title. I'm also training Sam to be his beta with help from my own beta and his family. Honestly if I wasn't for my grandparents, aunts, uncle, my brothers, and my beta's family; I wouldn't know where I would be. After the deaths in the family I made sure that I was there not only for my pack but most importantly for my boys. They keep me humble and on track" My father looks at her amused and has a big grin on his face.

"You did great Lex." Alex says through mind link.

And then he asks Eli out loud "Hey Eli, what do you for your pack? When's your Alpha ceremony?" I look at Alex and nod my head and say "leave him alone" he tells her no.

"It's ok my dad put you on the spot. Hopefully my answer is just as good as yours." I say while trying to give her a smile.

"Well Alex to answer your question. I help with making alliances as you can tell. But I also lead training every often as well. I help my dad in what ever he needs whether its doing paper work for the pack or helping out fellow pack members. My alpha ceremony is in a week actually." Alexus gives me a thumbs up.

She then says "mine's in two weeks you guys are more than welcome to come". With that she jumps up from her seat in a panic and says "s**t. I FORGOT ABOUT IT. I don't smell anything burning. Do you guys smell something burning?"

"Everything ok Lex?" I say She looks at me and says "Well im not too sure I forgot something in the oven and I'm reallly hoping it didn't burn."

"Did you make your famous cake. Please say you did" Max says

"Well we will have to see if for dessert won't we" She reply's laughing

"Well that's my que to stop eating. I need some room for dessert.I don't care if its burned it's still good." Alex says

"Ugh why did you tell me earlier. I wouldn't have gone for seconds. That not fair Lex." Sam says

She looks at all three of them and says "Guys relax I need to go check before it really burns. Plus we have a guests do you really think I wouldn't bake anything. You guys should now better. Excuse me I'll be right back".

I look at her walk away and I can see how her dress hugs her body in the most perfect way. She absolutely perfect. She can hold her own in every way possible. The way she hold her self with so much poise no matter the circumstances is amazing and a big turn on. Maddox purrs from being so happy. 10 minutes pass by and she comes back out of breath.

She sits in her chair and says " Ok it didn't burn., so we are all good. Everyone done with their dinner?"

We all look at her and her brothers and Alex look at each other and say "Come on guys that our que to help clean so we can help her with the desert."

As Alex gets up and grabs his plate she puts her hand on his arm and nods her head "You guys need to wait until everyone at the table is done. Don't be rude."

Alpha Alec looks at Lexus and says " I think we are done Lex. Dinner was great. Thank you."

It was like that her que to get up. She stands out of her seat and looks at Sam, Alex and Max and says "Ok boys now you can help me clean up. Take you plates and come back for the rest. Remember to put them in the sink and not on the counter.

I look over to my dad and say "Hey dad are you done with your plate?" My father Alpha Ricardo nods his head and says " yes mija, you can take my plate" I grab his plate and mine and start walking towards the kitchen but stop in my tracks. I look at Eli who has been eye balling me all night like if he likes me but still doesn't trust me and I say " Hey Eli. Do you want to come help me with the dessert?"

Did she really just ask me if I want to help her. "Say yes, say yes. "Maddox says in my head. I open my mouth and say "sure why not".

She smiles at me and says "ok bring your dishes and put them in the sink. Hey Felix you can come too if you want. I promise I don't bite. Just make sure you bring your dishes."

I get up and get my dishes and Felix says " Sure why not." He follows me into the kitchen while Max and Sam are walking back out to get the rest of the plates.
