Aaron at Zee who was busy writing in his notebook then turned to Eden and replied, "For the list, I don't have it because I'm not the committee but maybe I can help you to get it from the committee. For public lectures, indeed everyone can follow it but mostly participating are C University students themselves".

"Okay, then I ask for your help", Eden said gratefully.

"Wait a minute," said Aaron, who stood up from his seat and walked to his desk and called someone using the cable phone on his desk.

After Aaron finished making the phone call, Aaron sat back down on the sofa. Aaron said, "Wait a minute, someone will deliver the list here".

Eden nodded then when Eden was about to speak, Aaron who looked at Zee said, "Aren't you a student here? You've been to my class, haven't you?".

Eden saw Zee who was shocked and panicked, Eden immediately replied, "Yes, he is a student here but he is taking time off and working with me".

"Oh, why are you taking time off? Aren't you graduating soon?", asked Aaron like a lecturer to his students.

"Ehm, I...", Zee confused to answer.

"It's okay if you don't want to talk about it, working with Eden includes you learning and adding to your experience. I'm sure Eden will teach you many good things for you, work hard with him and come back to campus soon", said Aaron who smile.

Hearing Aaron's words, Zee felt his heart getting calmer and lowered his head in approval and thanks to Aaron.

Eden smiled and moved closer to Aaron and whispered, "Don't smile like that too often, more people will be fascinated by you".

Aaron was stunned and after that lightly smacked Eden's arm, "What are you saying about?".

Soon someone knocked on the door and Zee immediately stood up and opened the door. A young girl came with a list of participants in the public lecture that Eden wanted.

"Good afternoon. Professor, this is the data you want", said the girl who gave it to Aaron after saluting.

"Yes, thank you. Are you going to my class after this?", asked Aaron, looking at his watch.

"Yes, Professor. Is there anything I need to do for you?", asked the girl.

"Please photocopy the material for class and share it with others," said Aaron who took the material for his class.

"All right, professor", the girl accepted and said goodbye.

After the girl left, Eden stood up from the sofa and said, "You will have class, won't you? Then I won't bother you anymore and also continue with my work".

Aaron turned to Eden and nodded "Hm, yes".

"Thanks for the list," said Eden who suddenly caressed Aaron's cheek gently which made not only Aaron but Zee surprised too.

Eden lowered his hand and immediately turned to leave, "I'll go first".

Eden had just arrived at the office and was immediately greeted by Tian who sat opposite Kenzo. Tian immediately called Eden, "You just finished? Kenzo has been waiting since 30 minutes ago".

Eden pulled a chair and sat next to Tian then said, "Ehm, I just came from C University".

Kenzo said "What do you guys need?".

"Oh, straight to the point... Old man, haven't you told him yet?" Eden said leaning back on the chair.

"Not yet, say it," replied Tian curtly.

"Then what were you two talking about for 30 minutes? Haha okay, so the case this time was a werewolf who was turned into a vampire and it's certain that the culprit is a pure vampire or the elders. So, I want you guys to really investigate who the culprit is, right? There aren't many pure vampires and elders? I'm sure you guys can interrogate them all and find out who the culprit is," said Eden, who from laughing then saw Tian who glanced at him immediately turned serious.

"It's not easy to interrogate pure vampires let alone elders. Most pure vampires rarely return to the main castle, if not to report then they often don't come back. Elders are very strong and live very mysteriously, many of them are asleep so most likely the elders are not the culprit", said Kenzo who was serious but glanced at Tian.

"Okay, but I don't care how you guys can interrogate them. After all, the more elders sleeping means the fewer elders you need to interrogate," said Eden, noticing Kenzo's glance at Tian.

Kenzo stood up and turned to leave "I'll try".

Kenzo just looked at him for a moment then immediately turned to leave. Tian turned to Eden and said "Isn't the werewolf messenger your own brother? I'm sure he already knows".

"I think he knew from the start, I'm afraid the dispute between the werewolf and the vampire will get hotter," said Eden who sat back down.

Tian sat next to him and made Eden turn his head and say, "I thought you were going to follow Kenzo?".

"No, he's not in a good mood so I'd better stay here," said Tian who leaned back in his chair and sighed.

"Whatever the dispute between the vampire and werewolf, we will remain neutral, so I don't want to side with either one," said Tian seriously.

"Hm, I know. It's just that if the dispute gets hotter, it will be more difficult to control it and cause the existing stability to fall, for sure humans will feel the impact and even become victims," ​​said Eden, looking out the window.

He had so many things to do that he unknowingly had two weeks passed since Eden last met Aaron. Eden and Aaron are still texting although not very often but it is enough to make Eden less anxious because she doesn't meet Aaron.

Especially since a few days ago, the werewolf has firmly announced that it will participate in investigating the cases of werewolf deaths that occurred without having to wait for a report from Eden and not only that, the werewolf will immediately give its own punishment to the perpetrator who killed or the cause of death werewolf. What the werewolf did, meant that the werewolves no longer had faith in Eden as a mediator between werewolves, vampires and humans and had broken promises made thousands of years ago.

Not only werewolves, but also vampires, who Eden has reminded several times to cooperate in cases related to vampires also announced that as long as the werewolves break their promises, they will not follow the terms of the agreement. Moreover, the crimes that have been happening lately have always been aimed at vampires and have cornered vampires as perpetrators in every crime that occurred. In other words, there is currently a state of chaos and instability between werewolves, vampires and humans. The strength of the three, which is not certain who is the strongest on earth, makes everything a mystery, who will be the ruler of the earth if this situation continues and is no longer just a cold war between werewolves and vampires but could turn into a real war.

Eden daydreamed out of his car, the dark alley not far from the bar he was going to had a very strong werewolf smell that made Eden stop in his tracks. The sound of his cell phone ringing made him pause and take his phone.

Eden saw the name of the person who called him and sighed, "What's wrong?".

"The werewolves are on the run to chase a pure vampire", said Ethan seriously.

"Then? Isn't it since the last few days that the werewolves have been chasing a vampires?", said Eden, feeling that he already knew that.

"This vampire is not an ordinary vampire, he is the son of one of the oldest vampire elders. And he is a person who has been involved with you several times and the case you reported", said Ethan from behind the phone.

"Who is it?", said Eden, who somehow knew who the person in question was but wanted to get certainty because even though his heart had said who it was, his mind refused and kept thinking that everything was just a coincidence.

"I'll send his ID file now. You have to be careful with him," said Ethan, then hung up the call.

Before long, Eden received a message containing the identity file used by the vampire. Eden froze and his eyes stared intently at his cell phone. Eden immediately opened the car door again and immediately left the place at high speed. Eden couldn't believe what he saw and it was as if everything he had feared from that person had come true. Eden gripped the steering wheel tightly and his breathing seemed irregular according to his current mixed feelings.

Eden arrived at the parking lot of an apartment. Eden was silent and lowered his head to lean on the steering wheel. After taking a deep breath, Eden sat up straight and took out his cell phone. Eden called someone but after several times Eden called him, the person did not pick up the call.

Eden remained seated firmly staring into the distance and several times. He called the person several times until who knows how long, Eden finally decided to get out of his car and started walking into the apartment.

The balcony door was open, the curtains swaying in the night breeze. Blood dripped on the floor, Aaron took off his coat and threw it on the floor. Aaron sat limply against the wall. In front of him was a large mirror that made his figure fully visible, showing a man who was badly injured with blood running from his neck, arms and stomach. The wound on Aaron's body is deep enough that even Aaron, who is a pure vampire with extraordinary self-healing abilities, has to treat his wounds. Aaron was about to get some medicine from a nearby drawer but his cell phone that was on his coat kept ringing for the umpteenth time. Aaron pulled up his coat that had been lying bloodied on the floor and took out his cell phone.

'Eden', the name that was seen calling Aaron several times. Seeing the name, Aaron became both shocked and frightened. Aaron thought maybe Eden wanted to come here after work but right now it was impossible for him to meet Eden. Aaron was confused whether he should answer the call from Eden or not but Aaron was afraid that if he answered the call from Eden and Eden wanted to come here then he would have to lie to Eden. Aaron decided not to answer the call from Eden. Aaron sighed and turned off his phone. Aaron felt so tired as if all the blood in his body had been drained, Aaron started to close his eyes and fell asleep.
