All day, Coldstrom has not been able to get Elizabeth off his mind. He keeps on replaying how she had looked when he told her that Vassimidin would be resurrected with Ilerhyin. Her face paled and she looked truly scared. He has never seen that expression on her face before and it bothers him that it was there at all.  The expression has kept on bugging him, and he could barely concentrate over the meeting he had with a fae emissary. To avoid offending her any further, he sent her off with a promise to reschedule the meeting. Alone in his chambers, he feels restless.
