The Escape
Anna decides to run away from the house where she lived under Leonard’s shadow — a wealthy and influential man whose love had turned into a prison over time. The house, which seemed luxurious and perfect from the outside, was in reality a place where every word she spoke, every glance she gave, belonged to him. Behind the glitter and gold hid a cold, controlling power, and the freedom she had dreamed of was nothing more than an illusion.
The night, thick and dark like ink, blankets her escape. The moon hides behind clouds, unwilling to witness her determination. Barefoot on the wet road, Anna feels the cold bite into her skin, but fear and pain are intertwined with the determination to choose freedom at any cost. Her heart pounds violently, and each step carries her further from the past, though memories of Leonard continue to haunt her.
Leonard — a man whose beauty seems flawless: sharp cheekbones, piercing eyes the color of molten amber, and lips shadowed by a constant half-smile. In his every movement, there is confidence and power; in his words, a cold force capable of breaking those around him. Beneath his striking appearance lies a cruel, controlling, and dangerous man, accustomed to dominating and breaking others.
Anna once believed that love could change him, that it could overcome pain. But love became chains that held her captive. Now, ahead of her, there is only the road, the wind, and the quiet whisper in her chest: “Run while you still can…” This step marks the beginning of her new life, a step toward freedom and toward herself.
