Chapter 37: Fly Esme had always envied the birds in the skies, how they moved so freely with no restriction in the vast firmament. She always stared at them in awe at how just a pair of wings could keep them up there. Her eyes skimmed out the window as she takes in her surrounding, they were forty minutes away from the city center and she wondered where exactly they were going. "We're here." her eyes stirred back to the road that now lead to an open clearing. She climbed out of the car, inspecting the area. The flat elevated land they stood on ended just a several meters away leaving them exposed to the horizon of water beneath and the skies above.
