Seth quickly moved downwards into the tunnel that he had created, followed by Alice and Ian. Then Chloe and Tristan went down and finally Alex.
The room was now empty and the aliens, who were attacking them with the large energy beam, didn’t know that since they couldn’t exactly see what was happening inside. However, it didn’t take long for them to realize that their prey was escaping and began to chase after them though it was too late.
The structural integrity of the room was already compromised, and it soon collapsed, completely burying whatever was inside of the room, including the tunnel that Alex and his party had taken to escape it.
The aliens quickly tried to track them down using their advanced thermal-seeking technology and soon found out that their prey was moving downwards
