They kept moving through the spaceship, fighting aliens that suddenly appeared from time to time, but the number of times they were attacked was less than when they first entered. The further they went, the fewer aliens were present.
They soon realized why. They had reached a huge, open area inside the spaceship. And it was empty. No aliens were present.
The space was large, and it had a high ceiling. But there was no sign of any enemies. In fact, the only thing there was the remains of what seemed to be some sort of giant creature.
"What is this...?"
Seth walked up to the creature and poked its remains. He couldn't figure out what it was, or rather, where it was from. It was unlike anything he had ever seen. It was not human. And it was not an alien. It was something else entirely.
