After scouting the area for a moment, the first thing the group found was an outpost the aliens had set up to keep watch of the area. Despite Scourge and Nix saying that the outpost was ‘small’, it was actually pretty big, at least by human standards.
There was some kind of weird eye installation that was set up in all 4 corners of the outpost keeping watch of the surrounding area and at the center of the outpost was a tall tower that had some kind of energy beacon at the top of it.
[That’s a 10G energy turret. We have to be careful. A single shot of that can vaporize anything, even our armor…]
