(Niyla's pov)

I woke up to my brother crying of hunger and a wet diaper. Wolf I say to my wolf. Yes she replies. I'm sorry but I forgot to as you your name. That ok I know we went through alot last night. My name is Lexie. Nice to meet you Lexie.

Lexie do you think it would be safe to go back to the house to get some things for me and kaino. I think that would be fine Niyla the hunters should be gone by now. I crawl out from under the log and stand and stretch a little bit. I then bend over and pick Kiano up. I begin the walk back to the house.

when I get back to the house I am shocked at what I see. There in the yard laid my father's lifeless body. He had 2 gun shot wonds to his chest. I cover Kiano's eye even though he is only a baby I don't want him seeing our father that way. I go in to the front door and in to the living room. There in the living room laid my mother's lifeless body. It looked like they had beaten her and then broke her neck. I aging covered Kiano's eyes. I can hear lexie whimpering in my head at the loss of our parents. I walk to Kiano's nursery and got to the closet and grab a duffle bag. I then walk over to his dresser and pack some clothes, diapers, and wipes. After I finish with that I head to my room to pack me some clothes. Right before leaving I get a book bag and put some bottles and formula in to for kaino. after saying I quick goodbye I walk out with kiano and never look back.

Lexie how are we going to rase kiano I am only 14? We got this Niyla I will help you the whole way. First we need to find a place to stay, and get a part time job to make money.
