I sigh and dry my eyes, not wanting Siena to see me crying. I know I f****d up, I should have told Hope. But honestly it isn’t an easy thing to bring up and well I had no idea that I would suddenly stand in this situation, that Siena would get better after 10 years of being gone.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my wife, I truly do ... but I am not in love with her anymore. I have changed and grown these last 10 years, and I have fallen in love with Hope. Siena has kind of been frozen in time, she is still exactly like she was before the sickness took over her mind.
I have cried on Lily’s shoulder, as she is the only one who knows the full story. Actually Siena was one of her best friends back then. She was there through it all. That was how me and Lily became friends.
