EPISODE 9: WHO ARE YOU?

"Mr Stephen, may I ask something?" Carissa told Stephen after their meeting with Emilia and Tobias. The two have stepped outside of the meeting room ready to wait at the living room for their things from the hotel to arrive leaving Carissa and Stephen alone in the meeting room. "Is this matter personal for you?" Carissa asked Stephen with a straight face.

Stephen just looked at her eyes directly for about a few seconds before answering "I just want to help, that's all. Don't put any other meaning to it. Anyways regarding their favor, I'll do it personally. Alone. So don't bother me in my room for the next 12 hours. Eat dinner with them after their things arrive." Stephen then stood up and headed straight to his room.

Carissa just sighed then she stood up to clean the meeting room before leaving.

She then headed to the living room where Emilia and Tobias are staying. She just sat there with the two sitting quietly. "After your things from the hotel arrive let's get some dinner outside." Carissa said with a lively tone to get something going with the two.

Tobias just nodded while Emilia answered "Do you eat Japanese food?". "I love it. So it's decided then. I know a great Japanese restaurant nearby. You know what? We can go now actually. I'll just tell our men to just directly deliver your things here in the penthouse." Emilia and Carissa quickly stood up and headed to the elevator.

Seems like the Japanese food really made them click together quickly. Tobias walked behind them observing the place. And then the elevator arrived. The whole walk leading to the japanese restaurant was really enjoyed by the two ladies. For the whole walk they were exchanging stories of different topics. Fashion, food, models, handsome actors, make ups; basically any usual topic in a girl to girl conversation.

And for the whole walk Tobias just walked behind them thinking of his next step. After

Stephen finds out anything, what would he do about it? Is it safe to hunt down Black? Plus he still remembers what Black told him on the balcony. For some reason it still bothers him.

"Hey! Are you even with us?" Emilia shouted at Tobias. "I asked what you like about thirty times now." She added. "Just make my order the same as yours." Tobias answered. Emilia just rolled her eyes at him and then continued talking with their personal waiter.

After 45 minutes of waiting for the food it arrived and they began to eat. The same thing is still going for the two ladies and they are visibly closer now. "Excuse me sorry to interrupt you but may I ask you something Carissa?" Tobias said, getting the attention of the two ladies. "Sure what is it?" Carissa answered. "When did you meet Stephen? Do you know anything about him? I mean like family or friends?" Tobias asked. "Why are you interested, Cap?" Carissa answered. "Just curious. Nothing wrong about asking right?" Tobias said.

"I met him 5 months ago. When I saw this online job ad about his company hiring a personal secretary that can understand sign language. And I was personally hired by him. I think if you want to know more about him, you should ask Lex. As much as I know Lex was with him already when Stephen was still in Europe, you know before he relocated here in Mersham. Well in terms of family or friends, I don't really know about that either. Before we had the penthouse the both of us lived in his beside the lake rest house at the outskirts of Mersham. No family members visited. Not even once, well I assumed maybe his family is in Europe so I never bothered to ask." Carissa answered.

"Wait, the two of you live together?" Emilia asked in which Carissa quickly replied with "Yup I lived in that resthouse since I was hired and yes we still live together in the penthouse. But okay let me get this straight, its pure business. My work demands are really high that I work almost 12 hours a day and I get 2 rest days a month. He is a billionaire businessman so parties, meetings, and public appearances are very common and I need to be there always. And no, we don't have s*x. Its pure work." Upon hearing that last line Emilia just laughed hard holding her stomach. "You're really prepared for that question huh? Seems like you get that alot."

After saying that the two ladies just laughed but Tobias just sat there watching the two ladies. He's still thinking, trying to read Stephen. "Who are you really Stephen Maxwell." He thought to himself. After an hour in that restaurant at last. And after that they headed straight back to the penthouse. After they arrived they saw that their things were already neatly fixed in one of the rooms. Upon seeing them arrive Stephen made a few hand signs. "This is the biggest available room, this would make you two more comfortable but I'm sorry as one bed is really available for use. I hope this is not a problem." Carissa said which visibly made the two look awkward with each other. Tobias then whispered to Emilia ``Don't worry I'll just sleep on the floor. I saw some extra comforters there anyway." In which Emilia just answered "i***t. It's too cold

on the floor."
