Chapter 15

Mary's POV

"Please Nikki you have to wake up" it's all i can say to my best friend while my tears still flow like a never ending river it's only been 2 days since "HE" attacked her but to me it feels like it's been years since i have heard her sweet voice when things finally calmed down i had my parents and their son thrown in the cells and chained to a wall i don't give a s**t if they are my blood or not what that bastard did to Nikki was unforgiveable and as for my parents they herd what was going on in that room i know they did and instead of stopping him they were going to act like they knew nothing and even after he was caught they were going to find a way to get him out of it that night changed everything i had no idea things would go so bad so fast i thought we had more time to prepare her but instead we were all caught off guard the witch keeps saying there was nothing i could have done to stop it because the future is always changing and nothing is set in stone but the guilt i feel in my heart wont let me except that as a excuse i have not seen my mate since that night i haven't seen the twins either from what i have been told by Ronda the beta female the twins have not spoken a word since they seen there sister that night and if Kaden leaves there side for more than a few minutes they start to scream and cry they last out and try to hurt anyone that comes near them except my mate he is the only one who can get them to eat as well i fear the boys will never have a normal childhood after seeing what they seen Nikki is everything to them and with their other family members either dead, banished, or "erased" from their lives they have no one else they need Nikki more than anyone 

"Hey Mary is there any change yet" the guard Angel came in making me jump a little off my seat but i still can't take my eyes off Nikki i am so scared if i look away she will disaper forever "the doctor said her heartbeat and pulse are getting stronger and all of her bones are fully healed even her bruises are almost gone but she still hasn't woken up" i tell him while gently stroking her hand "what are you still doing here Angel didn't the witch and the other guard go back to the kingdom to report everything that has happened here shouldn't you be with them" i hiss at him he is always lurking around Nikki and i don't trust any man around her anymore i even sent word to our sister pack to send their female pack doctor and they could in turn have ours till further notice he comes over to sit on the opposite side of Nikki's hospital bed "Mary look at me..... i would never hurt her i know your having a hard time trusting men right now but you need to f*****g chill the monster who did this is rotting in a f*****g cell chained to a f*****g wall with silver cuffs coated in wolfsbane he will never hurt her again i swear to you and to answer your question i am here for her and those boys i have been tasked to keep the 3 of them safe till the day OUR KING AND QUEEN give me other orders where ever they are i won't be too far behind so you better get used to this face darlin' cause i ain't goin' no where" he said to me with an annoying ass smile i choose to ignore him and look back at Nikki *DING* i check my cell phone it's from Charley "hey didn't want to disturb you but your link is still cut off your parents and brother are demanding to see you i was going to ignore their request like i have been but they are starting to get on my damn nerves and since you said i couldn't kill them yet i figured i would let you know before i put a bullet in between their eyes it's your call Alpha" i finish reading his text i can't help but smile Charley asks me if he can kill them every few hours or so and now refuses to call me daughter-in-law only alpha i put my phone down and give Nikki's hand one last squeeze before letting go i open my mind link back up after 2 days of having my walls up "Kaden i need you to bring the twins to see their sister they will stay here with her and Angel he has been tasked by the royals to keep them safe and honestly it might do the three of them good if they were together again Nikki's face is basically healed so it might help once you get here to drop them off you and i are going down to the cells with your dad it's time we get some justice for Nikki" i finish my link to my mate and look at Angel "my mate is bringing her brothers here maybe seeing her will help their emotional state and it could help bring her back when they get here Kaden and i will be going to pay my parents a visit they are demanding to see me and i think its time to get some justice for my friend" he just nods his head not showing any type of emotion "just remember you can't kill them yet not until Myra gets back with the final ruling from the King and Queen" he says never even looking at me "i know but no one ever said anything about torcher i will keep them alive for now" i say to him a few tense minutes go by when we hear a knock at the door i go to open it to find my mate  holding Marcus' and Kevin's hand they are not smiling their usual smiles they have bags under their eyes like they haven't slept in weeks they don't say hi to me or Angel they just walk over to their sister and crawl into the hospital bed with her laying on either side of her wrapping their little arms around her snuggling close to her and shutting their eyes we all watch for awhile to see if they will start to cry or anything but within seconds they are peacefully sleeping with Nikki "they haven't been sleeping well maybe a hour here a couple of hours there" i nod my head at my mate "Nikki has always been their safe space they have never gone a day without seeing her so you have to understand the last memory they had of her was her all bloody and beaten then they went 2 days without seeing her hearing her voice or anything the poor things" i say to Kaden while walking to the closet to grab the twin a blanket to cover them with as i am draping the blanket over the 3 of them i look over at Angel who is looking outside the window i clear my throat trying to get his attention he turns his head to look at me "we will be back in a few hours no one but us is allowed to come in this room do you understand" i say to him "yeah i got this i know how to do my job Mary go do what you have to do they're not going anywhere" he says walking back to his chair by Nikki's bed and taking a seat Kaden gently grabs my arm pulling me out of the room once we are in the hall way we are met by Richard and Ronda i don't want to see or speak to anyone who have caused my bestfriend pain i straighten up my shoulders and look her uncle dead in his eyes "what are you doing here Richard you have no cause to be anywhere near here" i say to him "Alpha i know you don't like me but they are my family i just want to know they're okay please just give me their grandmother heard about what happened and she is beside herself all she wants is to know her grandchildren are okay" he says to me with tears in his eyes without one word i grab him by his neck and start dragging him outside of the pack hospital once we are there i see his family standing outside with flowers and candles i throw him towards the small group Ronda runs to her mate checking his neck for any serious injuries they are all looking at me with fear in their eyes "ALL OF YOU WILL LISTEN TO ME HERE AND NOW BECAUSE I WILL ONLY SAY IT ONCE IF ANY OF YOU GO NEAR NIKKI, MARCUS OR KEVIN I WILL NOT HESITATE TO KILL YOU I DONT GIVE A s**t HOW OLD YOU ARE OR WHAT YOUR RANK IS YOU WILL DIE MY HAND FOR YEARS THOSE THREE SUFFERED THEY WERE SHUNNED BY YOU ALL BECAUSE THEIR FATHER BROUGHT SHAME TO YOUR FAMILY BUT NOW THAT YOU HAVE GUILT YOU THINK YOU CAN SHOW UP SHED A FEW TEARS AND ALL WILL BE FORGIVEN NO I WILL NOT ALLOW IT STAY THE f**k AWAY LIKE YOU HAVE BEEN DOING FOR ALL OF THESE YEARS THEY ARE NOT YOUR FAMILY THEY ARE NOTHING TO YOU DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!!!" my alpha voice booms i see some shaking in fear others are crying mostly Richard's mother who is crying into her daughter-in-laws' shirts "I SAID DO I MAKE MYSELF f*****g CLEAR!!" i yell out to the crowd once more "Yes Alpha" they all say with shaking voices they all slowly start to walk away leaving their gifts behind in a pile i wait to make sure they're all gone before walking back to the pack house "why did you do that love i know they haven't been good to Nikki or the boys but they just wanted to know she's okay people can change you know" Kaden says to me "no my love they can't where were they when Nikki was getting r***d by her father and his friends where were they when she was getting beaten and starved daily by her mother where were they when the boys needed diapers and food they were too worried about image to care about them so why show up after all of these years i will tell you why my love their image is even more damaged now since Anthony and Laura's crimes against Nikki have been made public record other pack members are questioning if they knew why they didn't try to help her but most of all they are bashing them for turning their backs on a innocent young girl who was being abused by both of her parents and while she was being abused was still being forced to cook clean and take care of her infant twin brothers on her own before she even hit puberty that family only cares about themselves they came around when it would most benefit them or help them in some way because now the house everything that was in Anthony and Laura's name now goes to Nikki if they get custody of the boys even for a little while they will take everything leaving Nikki and those boys nothing" i say to my mate while stripping out of the clothes i've been wearing for 2 days i look down at the blood stains and decide its no time to cry i grab a pair of black leggings and a black over sized t-shirt i throw on my all black Nikes and look in the mirror and start to fix my hair i look like a damn zombie i haven't slept or ate in days but that will just have to wait this Alpha is going to have some fun 

Kaden and i are walking to the cells when i see Kathy (Nikki's bully) running to me i personally have never had issues with her but i know how badly she has tormented Nikki over the years "ALPHA PLEASE STOP I NEED TO SHOW YOU SOMETHING PLEASE I KNOW YOU HATE ME FOR THE WAY I TREATED NICOLE BUT I FOUND VANESSA IN YOUR BROTHER'S ROOM" she is yelling s***h crying i shrug my shoulders "and why the hell should i care where she is" i counter turning away from her Kathy quickly grabs my forearm and twists me around "you don't understand Alpha, Vanessa she she's dead it looks like she has been dead for a couple of days at the very least" i look at Kaden "start without me my parents first 50 lashes each Jason is mine!!!" i say to Kaden he just nods and starts to walk away "Kaden, make sure to use the whip with the silver tips dipped in wolfsbane" i yell he doesn't even look back just waves his hand at me "alright Kathy show me what you are talking about"

1 hour later 

once i notified Vanessa's family letting them know her neck had been snapped by Jason i had the doctors and nurses take her body to the mortuary after that i ordered the omegas to clear out Jason's room and my parents i wanted the rooms emptied out cleaned from top to bottom painted and saged by a healer i instructed them to also do the same to Nikki's room there was too much bad juju in the pack house and this pack needed a new start on my way back to the cells i decided to call Myra and tell her about Vanessa's body being found in Jason's room i explain who she was and the cause of death Myra says she will pass these new charges along to the royals once i open the door to the cells i hear the whip being snapped over and over again onto someone's back i hear my mother crying as i walk into the room i smell nothing but blood my parents look at me and they both start crying begging me to let them out "Mary darling we are your parents you can't let them kill your very own parents can you, your not going to let them kill your twin he is your other half" my mom says to me i throw my head back laughing like a crazy person in doing this i got the attention of my brother the devil himself  i grab some extra gloves and put them on before grabbing the whip from kaden i walk over to a big bucket of wolfsbane and dip the whip in the bucket "this is for what you did to NIkki and for murdering Vanessa but don't worry my dear brother this is the only begining" are my final words to him before i start the lashes the first scream from his mouth is like music to my ears
