The next few days were fairly quiet for Toby and Amanda. Amanda caught up on the much-needed rest. She was found to have a lot more energy for Toby, not that he was complaining. The complaint was left up to Joyce. Every hour on the hour she would knock on their door because she broke another nail or her feet were too sore to continue with the day-to-day tasks of helping with the ranch.
Toby snuck out a few times to take photos of Joyce doing physical labor to send to his parents, and they sent back a laughing my ass off meme.
Chelsea was put on light duties by Cameron, to her disgust. He said ‘he doesn’t want to be responsible for her losing the baby by doing hard work around the ranch.’ Amanda was happy as she and Chelsea got to spend quality time together.
