Amanda woke up a bit confused, because she wasn’t in her bed and she laid there looking around her surroundings before she remembered she had a nap in Adam’s room. Looking beside her, Adam wasn’t next to her. Sighing, she got out of bed and walked out of the room.
“Hey” Toby said, looking over from the couch in the living area, a bottle of water in his hand.
“What time is it?” Amanda asked, going to her bag near the front door to retrieve her phone.
“5.30”, Toby replied, coming up behind Amanda and putting his arms around her. “Adam's outside with Skittles, looking around the perimeter of the property to see what they needed to do for security fencing” he continued, giving her a peck on the cheek. “He said you looked peaceful and decided to let you sleep.”
