Warhorse Deliverance MC - Trouble’s Story

CHAPTER 1 Today is May 4th and is now one of the worst days of Fiona’s life. Fiona stood in the yard as the people whom use to be her family welcomed all of her dad’s friends while clearly shutting her out. She had just watch her parents’ bodies be lowered into the ground this morning, and felt her heart rip apart and now her dad’s family was there to make sure that she was reminded that she was not their blood. Fiona was a toddler when her mom had met Oliver and eventually married him just a few months later. She didn’t remember her biological father and Oliver was the only dad she ever knew and most of his friends accepted her as his own daughter and the town believed that he was her father. Now Fiona was being pushed out and his family thought that she had nowhere to go, little did they know that she had already made a name for herself because Oliver had always believed in her. Fiona turned and walked to the shop and grabbed her bag and helmet then got on her Softail leaving as Oliver’s family continued to welcome visitors without acknowledging her at all. Fiona had just turned 19 on April 29th and was scheduled to graduate in a few weeks with multiple PhDs. She had graduated high school early at the age of 14 and entered college at a young age and with having several interests and various talents she was able to major in a few different fields and even minor in something just for fun. Oliver and her mom had been so proud of her and couldn’t wait to finally celebrate her achievements with all of their friends, family, and community, but now that was never going to happen. Because Fiona had always been a shy child that kept to herself unlike her siblings, Oliver’s biological children, that were outgoing and always making people talk; she went unnoticed most of the time. Since she had always kept her private life private with only a few close friends knowing her full potential and plan it was easy for her to slip through the cracks. Fiona pulled up to the gate of the secluded estate that had been in ruins and knew that she was home. The gate opened and she traveled down the long winding driveway that finally opened to the rustic log estate that she had completely revitalized in her own style. Each room was made specifically for her and her future including the large garage that housed her vehicles and Harleys. Fiona made something quick for her dinner and went to the sewing room to complete her dress for graduation, the one she had designed to surprise her parents. Fiona went to bed with a heavy heart knowing that Oliver’s siblings and his children would not let her have anything that had belonged to her or her parents and all that she had left of them were the few items that she had already brought here and the Harleys her dad had helped her rebuild. May 19th, Graduation day had finally arrived and Devin O’Dell was the guest speaker for this year’s graduating class. Mr. O’Dell was a young entrepreneur that was at the top of everyone’s guest list and every young lady’s wish list. He never entertained females and made sure that everyone knew that his family and close friends were his priority and that no-one should ever mess with them or they would have to answer to him. He stepped up to the podium to give his speech and Fiona noticed the tattoos peaking out from his collar and the cuff of his sleeve and this peaked her interest and made her raise a brow. Fiona had already submitted her proposal to his office for the new project that he was getting ready to start which was exactly what he spoke about in his speech. He spoke about how is was not only important to be smart in business to be successful but that you must also give back to your community with love and gratitude. When his speech ended the graduates were announced with tons of clapping and whistling and hollering as students crossed the stage to accept their diplomas until Fiona’s name was announced. Fiona stepped up to the steps making her way to the stage as her name was called and she was announced as the valedictorian along with her primary Phd being announced naming her as Dr. Fiona Ryan. The audience was quiet with just a few polite claps as she accepted her diploma. Devin raised an eyebrow wondering why she was alone when everyone else appeared to have fans everywhere to celebrate them. He instantly decided he needed to know more as she looked so much younger than the rest of the class and she had a look to her that made his breath catch. Devin immediately texted his right hand to find out everything they could about Dr. Fiona Ryan. Fiona didn’t know that due to Devin being the guest speaker that there were more than usual reports there and that she would end up as part of several reporters’ story as they covered the graduation and Devin’s speech. Fiona’s biological siblings that she had no memory of saw pictures of her online and starting making plans to bring her back into the family. The photos and coverage were mainly of Devin but several reporters had mentioned the inspiring valedictorian that was the youngest graduate graduating not only with honors but also with multiple degrees. None of the articles poster her name but there were a few photos of her and the brothers instantly knew that she had to be the sister they had been looking for. Collin, Desmond, Sean, Nail, & Liam O’Ryan couldn’t stop looking at the photos they had seen online and knew that they had to re-unite with her. Nail & Liam being the youngest of the brothers were 10 years older than Fiona and they told their brothers that they would go to TwinCity where the college was to start the search for Fiona as they did not know if she would still be there or if she would be living somewhere else since the articles all reported her as a graduate from the local college. They hoped that they would be able to find her after all these years. Fiona had returned home after the graduation to find those loyal to her at her home with food and cake to celebrate her as they knew that since her parents were now gone no-one else would be there to show how proud they are of her. Fiona hated the fuss but it did make her feel loved and there was plenty of room in the estate for them to stay as long as they wanted since they seemed determined to entertain her late into the night. From the outside looking in no-one would ever had placed this group of people together but they were the ones that truly knew Fiona and they were from all sides of her life as she wasn’t the typical fragile young lady most people assumed her to be. Those closest to her knew that not only was she intelligent and talented in many areas but that she was also tough and strong not backing down from any challenge that was placed before her no matter what it was. Fiona had decided to accept a position in the ER at the local hospital as a part time physician just a couple of shifts every other week. The hospital really wanted her full time to run the ER as the administrator of the hospital had recruited her from the college when he spoke to the Dean of the Medical department. The Dean had told the administrator that Fiona was graduating with honors and that she would also be graduating with doctorates in several areas along with her medical degree. Fiona had been doing a residency at a rural hospital two towns over but since she also wanted to be able to go on runs with the MC she grew up with as well as work on a project with Devin if her proposal for his project was accepted she had decided that the local ER made more sense as it was close to her home. This new chapter in her life was about to begin and she was excited and nervous and ready to make her parents proud even though they were no longer there to voice their approval and love to her.
