20 I had to apologize to Sam and Joe. Leaving the way I had was incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate. They had counted on me to help run their über-popular lakeside bar and restaurant, but I had let them down. In typical Joe fashion, his response to my apology was, "No worries." He accepted the entire situation in his ever-present, laid-back, carefree manner. Nothing ruffled his feathers. Sam, however, was not so agreeable.
