Episode 34: A Day in paradise*

Raoul woke up to Blackthorn purring in satisfaction. “She came and slept in our bed!” Blackthorn said thrilled. 

It had been a massive surprise when she had crept in that night. Raoul stared down at Jamie. Her red hair was a mess on the pillow as she laid on her side. The silk nightdress allowed Raoul to glimpse her cleavage and fully appreciate her figure. Raoul’s c**k hardened as he saw her n*****s peek through the silk.  “I am so going to need another shower!” Raoul thought.

Bella the Maid suddenly came bursting in with tears in her eyes. “My Lord, my Beta! The Luna has run away!” 

 Bella stopped when she too saw Raoul and Jamie in bed. “Oh praise be the Goddess, I did not expect things to go so well! I mean we hoped of course..“ Bella began to ramble.

At this point, Jamie blushed and picked up a pillow and put it over her head mumbling, “Oh, sweet chaos!”

Raoul calmly said, “Thank you both of you, could we please have some privacy to get ready? Bella, maybe you could bring some clothes for the Luna? Maybe both actually do your job instead of gawping like stunned puppies!”

Both Sam and Bella bowed their heads and exited the room smirking. Raoul sighed and said, “Think it is time we got up, Kitten!” All he got was a groan in reply.

Jamie was feeling happy. The sunshine was out and she was free of the city for a few hours! She sat on Windsoul who was agreeing. “So nice to stretch one's legs!” Windsoul mindlink.

Black Winter and Raoul were next to them, with a few pack Guards behind. Fluff and Amaethon had said they wanted to stay in the palace as they had a few things to sort out. Jamie knew they had their own Clowder and Pack to deal with, so she did not mind.

“Fancy showing these idiots next to us, what we made of?” Jamie mind linked to Windsoul.

“Won’t be much of a challenge!” Windsoul retorted as she shook her head.

Jamie smirked and said, “Raoul let's race to that Oaktree there!” She pointed into the distance.

“Kitten I don’t think...” Before Raoul could even finish his sentence Jamie and Windsoul galloped away. “Come on Black Winter, we can’t let these ladies show us up!” 

It was a close-run race, but Jamie and Windsoul won. Raoul protested and said, “You had a head start!” 

Jamie giggled and said, “You snooze, you lose, even a Lord should know that!”

 Raoul roared with laughter much to the surprise of Sam. “I have never seen him this happy!” He thought happily.

After half an hour, they came to a secluded area that had dotted around deep pools. Jamie noticed the water was warm as there was steam rising from it. Jamie also notice that the edges of the pool were rusty orange deposits. All the pools had outflows that connected to a river.

 “What is this place?” Jamie asked curiously.

“We are at the Royal thermal pools. King Stephan owed me a favour and let us use it for the day.” Raoul said. The truth is Raoul did not have to even ask, the King had offered it willingly.

“Thermal pools?“ Jamie asked

The water is heated underground by volcanic activity and then flows into these pools. It then flows downstream. I thought it would be good to help you recuperate some of your powers.” Raoul explained.

“Of course! Water, fire and earth were all present here. Been close to the elements will replenish some of the strength that I lost at the Ball!” Jamie thought.

“ So, the orange is?” Jamie asked.

“Iron mineral deposits.“ Confirmed Raoul. 

Jamie put her arms around Raoul's neck and gave him a quick kiss on the lips.“Thank you so much for this Raoul!” She said with genuine happiness. 

Raoul was stunned, it was the first time Jamie had instigated a kiss.

 “She kissed us! She wants us!” Purred Blackthorn in Raoul’s mind. 

“Down buddy, let us not rush things!”  Raoul replied cautiously but, he was secretly happy as well.

“You are more than welcome, my Love!” Raoul said. Jamie blushed and looked down.

“Excuse me Alpha, we will leave the food here and leave you. Don’t worry we will be around if you need us!” Sam said with a bow. Sam then ordered everyone out of eyesight. 

Raoul grabbed Jamie and hugged her. “I have been wanting to do that all day!” He groaned. 

Jamie chuckled and pushed away. “I can’t believe you are head of the strongest pack in Riverswell!” Jamie teased.

“And why is that?“ Raoul said in a playful voice.

“Because you acting like a big soft puppy!” Jamie teased.

“Oh, really? I will show you who is Alpha!” Raoul said as began to tickle Jamie. She laughed until tears roll down her face. “Who is the strongest Alpha around, hmm?” Raoul asked.

“ Ok, ok you are! Please stop!“ shouted Jamie. 

Raoul stopped and said, “Now we cleared that important point up, shall we go for a dip?”

Jamie smiled mischievously and slowly walked to the pool. For a second Raoul wondered what she was doing, but then she slowly started to remove her clothes until she was completely naked. Blackthorn chuckled and said, “Well, you did start it!”

Jamie turned her head and said, “Are you coming or are you just going to stand there?”

Jamie then lowered herself into the warm pool. She felt a stone ledge that had been put around the edge so guests could sit whilst in the water. Blackthorn was howling in anger in Raoul’s mind, how dare someone hurt their mate? “I knew I should have killed them when I had the chance!!” Raoul growled. 

Jamie managed to break free of his grip and turn round. She placed a knee on each side of his legs on the ledge so she was straddling him. She looked straight into his eyes and said, “No my Love, I do not want you to taint your soul with the death of them.” Jamie said and then gently kissed him.

It was the most intense and loving kiss that Raoul had ever experienced. His Kitten had been through so much, yet she was more concerned with the welfare of his soul.  “Say it again” Raoul demanded softy.

“It is not your fault?” Jamie asked confused.

“No, call me your Love!” Raoul said.

He undressed her and put a nightdress on her. He then quietly got ready for bed and slipped in next to her. Raoul held her in his arms and he thanked the Moon Goddess for pairing him with Kitten.
