Raoul was not having a good time of it. He couldn’t feel his mate, Blackthorn was no where to be found and the pack were furious at him. Yes, they carried out their duties with respect, but even Mrs Oakheart had served him a burnt dinner. Sam could hardly look at him and answered every question with a Yes or no Alpha.
Raoul went to bed to try and get some sleep, but it was difficult. When he did he almost instantly found himself in a forest. He saw lights a little way off and he walked towards them. When he got close to them, the forest opened up to a clearing. There a beautiful women with pale skin and midnight black hair sat next to a pool. She had a large midnight black wolf next to her. The wolf had laid his head on her and she was stroking it.
