Amidst the hustle and bustle of the coffee shop, she chatted with several people she had just met that day. In fact, they had exchanged information several times through email and text messages, but this was the first time they had all gathered at the same time and place. They exchanged official papers with letterheads and company wet stamps. They also signed the papers and made sure the papers were safely stored in the brown envelope they had brought. After about an hour of discussion, the several neatly dressed people said goodbye and left her alone in the corner of the cafe.
After they left, she sat down again and fell into a daze, her gaze blankly out the window. It was still summer, but the atmosphere would be different in three months when autumn arrived. She wondered if the autumn with its strong winds would make her feel even "lonelier" or the other way around.
She also questioned herself again, whether the decision she had made was the right one. Although right now, she had no choice, because she had just signed an agreement with the team. But still, doubts still haunted her mind. She took a sip of the coffee in front of her, hoping that the caffeine in it would help her calm her mind.
'It's too late, I have to face it whatever happens'
She stood up, took her handbag that was next to her, and walked out of the cafe.
