Laura's POV I sat beside Damien in the car, neither of us spoke, I could practically feel the fury radiating off him. My hands rested uselessly in my lap, trembling. I was still hollowed out from what had happened — from the way the night had twisted and turned into something I never imagined. Yes, I’d been dreading it but not because I feared Damien would lose.
