He looked so beautiful and harmless as he slept. I had woken up earlier than him and had been staring at him for the past thirty minutes, mesmerized. He looked so peaceful, a lock of his dark hair falling over his eyes. I slowly raised my hand and lightly brushed the strand away. I leaned down, pressed a soft kiss to his forehead, and was about to slide out of the bed when he suddenly grabbed my wrist. I gasped, shocked.
