Zombies of the land

3 years later

After two years of being on this journey of failed attempts at making creations that just live two days and die from complications. Toby married Sasha and has three kids now. Conrad is talking to an old flame from college and trying to get some help from other scientists and help compare and contrast and run databases from other countries and companies to see if there works can match up and make something that will work and have a decent lifespan.

This leads us to three key individuals, Baker Mayfield, Katie York, Kayla May. Each individual person has had experiences with different types of scientific knowledge and experiments. Reading the files of each individual is pretty impressive.

“Should we explore more with these individuals and see what they can offer?” I say to Toby,

Handing the papers over towards Conrad, he reads the pages and looks up and shakes his head “ Ask them if they want to help research for the government this time, ohh, and before I forget I have another meeting with the president and part of the government administration to see if we can start getting testers for our new line drug.” Conrad explains, wondering back off towards my desk getting the numbers and information to call each person. I read Katie needs this job for tuition cost and to be considered in the medical school, I open my documents and type up the recommendation letter and send it over to an old school friend I had classes with and now works as head intake administrator for students. He replies with “ impressive resume she has.” I respond back with, “I have two more that needs to be added.”

“Send it over, are you calling them today?” He replies, “I am calling them right now.” I answered the email and pick my phone up and dialed Kayla May, 22, orphan, smart works at a dinner party time and has dreams to cure genetic diseases or issues, she has been saving money since high school and has been couch surfing.

One the third ring I hear a connection, “ Hello is this Kayla May?” I ask. “Yes it is can I ask who is calling?” “This is Toby Yuh from Turn One Vectech Labs, We were in talks about hiring you for our research team, we have extended a full ride scholarship for you and two other students to be going to Dukes medical school.” I explained, no response no sound I looked at the phone, then I hear a god awful sound coming from the phone, grinning a bit understanding the feeling having a dream come true. “Yes! Yes! Yes! She screamed at me through the phone.” “You will have to find your way here for an official meeting and walk through, once you have come to the company you will go to Duke campus and start your classes, any questions?” I say. “What time?” She rushed out, “Be at the front door at 8 am sharp, everything else will be ready for you when you arrive.” “Okay thank you so much for this opportunity.” Kayla responded and with that I hang up the phone. Looking back at my phone I received the email for Kayla’s individualized education program and print it out, I reach out to the building manager and rent out a three bedroom apartment for the three students. I take new folders and print there names and put the information into each folder for each student.

Once I have called each student and made arrangements for each of them to be here tomorrow.

I go down to my lab and check on the animals that I have, so far I have a hamster, a rabbit and a bird that has mad it through the test. I’ve run the test administered another dose of the trial drug and no changes has happened yet.
