Chapter 6: I won't repeat it again

(Flashback - Writer’s POV)
Together with delta groups Colbert founded a research Institute, which had 13 branches all over the country. Two years back eva was sent to Korea to handle the internal affairs of the organization. There were problems with the purchasing stocks, some projects have been in hold due to lack of materials and some projects needed guidance. She enclosed the deal with raw material sellers and solved most of the issues in the institutions. Under her guidance they have filed 3 patents. One related to the effects of mental health due to exhaustion of day to day activities, it explained how a person gets affected due to exposure and the ways to overcome it with some proven techniques. Eva was in charge of the research for the psychology department. It all went well till lyra- eva's senior came. Eva’s mentor Colbert had three students - Lyra, Peter, Eva. Lyra and peter are her seniors. For inspecting the progress of the Institute, the higher ups of delta groups sent lyra with a professional team. In the absence of Eva, Lyra and the team inspected the files and stole some information from unpatented papers. She planned accordingly to get Eva off-guard so she can get what she came for without giving time for Eva to think. The hard work of eva is stolen and the delta groups decide to handover the Institute in the hands of lyra. Eva tried her best to take what was rightfully hers but delta groups backed up Lyra. Even Colbert isn't able to do anything. Both are his students so he can't take a stance. Due to the past, Eva owes colbert because he saved her life and accepted her as his student. So she can't bring herself to blame him. She restricted herself to further involvement in management affairs that included delta groups.

Eva POV:
I can't leave it. They stole my hard work, after the incident i reduced myself from writing articles. Now I'm content as a gamer.
I got ready to submit the articles and meet Iyal. Though she is 6 years younger than me, she is my bestie…my little sister. She never leaves me to feel lonely.
I went to the Institute to submit articles. As usual my mentor tried to convince me but i can't bring myself to repeat the same. At noon, I met iyal in the cafeteria. She started to talk about the fall in share price of delta groups. “Who is the person behind this? Did the high-mighty delta groups offended someone to face this crisis?” I thought. Iyal interrupted my train of thoughts, by saying “hey actually i need to say something to you. I met someone on the way to the cafeteria. He seemed weird, so I accidentally hit him. when I turned to say sorry he ran away”. See you made a man run away with one hit, I teased her. The topic went to game streaming. We decided to hold a meetup betweent online streamers this weekend. Are you willing to give me company, I asked her. “Ok I will attend it with you. About the head of the Institute, what have you decided?” she asked. I'll think about it later, I replied. Then I went to my home.
