Chapter 8: He is injured

Ayan POV:

When I went to the study room, Sudhan was immersed in his laptop. I asked about his date but he easily diverted that topic. It was like he rejected her. I knew it. “When will I get a sis-in-law? He is too boring. One day he will make me a robot like him” I groaned inwardly. When he asked about the progress of our plan I started to explain everything that's happening. Richard Dev, Ceo of delta groups…he has made a grave mistake in his life. After hours of discussion about work I started to feel sleepy. Indeed, being vice president of zed corporation is tiresome.

The next day I went to meet Colbert…

Even today He is as stubborn as he was then. I had a conversation with him not as a businessman but to a person who I know from the past. In the past he never accepted my offer but now I can see he is considering it. It's because of the situation in delta groups. If that continues, he will sign a contract with us. On the way back to my car I met a girl at the doorway, she accidentally hit me. I think there is something sharp in that door. When I reached home I got a call from jay. “Ayan… There was an attack…sudhan got injured. Don't worry, nothing serious. He is in underground now”.

I went straight to the underground of our mansion. There is a bandage in Jay's hand. I went to sudhan… His shoulder is bandaged and there is a small plaster in his head. There is no mask covering his face now.

Thank god nothing serious…Last time when we had an attack sudhan lost lots of blood. So I was afraid. I asked Jay who is responsible for this attack. “If that person I had in mind had something to do with this… i will never leave him to live peacefully” i thought. “Our business rivals. It has nothing to do with ‘him’. I have investigated thoroughly" he replied. Suddenly Sudhan asked “Ayan where is your mask… what happened?”

I recalled what happened and told him everything. As if something crossed his mind he asked "Are there any CCTV cameras? Has anyone seen you? That girl who hit you was that accident or intentional?". Two incidents at the same time but It seems more like a coincidence bro... She was rushing somewhere and didn't notice me that was not intentional. Normally i would have thought he became paranoid... But given the circumstances i can't really think like that. I think i should check her details later.
