Chapter 1

It's been a month since the Phoenix troops were relaxing without any special assignments, the troops spent time with routine training and some senior troops seemed to have disappeared because almost all of them wanted to get a day off and return to their respective homes before the task came and made them unable to return to their homes even for a little sleep, it will be difficult. Alternately the troops in the Phoenix special forces unit get their day off but not for the junior troops who have just joined. Raven as captain also often disappears, either because he has his own job or maybe he is really busy with his personal affairs but Raven is only seen a few times in the barracks. Arzoo felt more comfortable in the absence of Raven and followed the training more vigorously.

The sound of the whistle sounded so loud, the troops who were practicing immediately stopped and ran towards the person who sounded the whistle and immediately they lined up in front of that person. William looked at the troops in front of him and said loudly, "Get ready, 2 hours from now on, all of you will go to Croatia to replace our soldiers who are there".

After hearing that, the junior troops who were practicing immediately dispersed and returned to their respective rooms to prepare their belongings to be brought to Croatia. Arzoo packed up his things and took out a bunch of medicine which he kept in his cupboard to carry.

The bus has been parked, the senior troops have been around the bus waiting for the junior troops to arrive. After all gathered, the seniors asked the completeness of the items that needed to be brought. When everything was complete, the junior troops immediately boarded the bus and would leave for the airport to fly to Croatia. During the trip, Raven was also invisible and there was only William as the vice-captain who took care of everything.

The military airport was filled with troops heading to Croatia and one of the royal families was also present. Raven is seen talking to the royal family who is the 3rd prince, Prince Noah. Raven was wearing his military uniform and had brought his belongings to be brought to Croatia, seeing his troops had arrived, Raven turned and motioned for them to get on the plane first. William immediately ordered the troops to board their plane and after that, William went to Raven who was chatting with Prince Noah. Arzoo saw Raven who was talking to Prince Noah so intimately and looked very close.

Arzoo felt a little uncomfortable seeing him and got on the plane straight away. When Arzoo no longer looked at Raven, Raven looked at Arzoo who walked into the plane.

Arzoo sat on the plane seat which consisted of 3 seats together with his roommate who was also his former college friend, the two of them had been close since the beginning of the lecture, not only because of the same major but also because both of them were of Chinese descent. Arzoo himself had lived in China with his mother and his mother also has Chinese descent, while Chen has both parents who are Chinese who have lived in Canada.

"Wow, this is the first time we will be on duty and we are immediately assigned to the battlefield, I feel excited", said Chen who looked out the window.

The announcement that the plane was about to start its flight was heard, Arzoo immediately told Chen to sit down, "Yes yes, sit down now".

Arzoo buckled his seatbelt and looked out the window. Raven just walked in and saw Arzoo sitting next to Chen, and the two seemed close. For some reason Raven felt a little uncomfortable, Raven walked past Arzoo and Chen without the slightest glance and Arzoo saw Raven pass him.

Prince Noah also just got on the plane and called out to Raven, "Raven, why did you get in there? sit with me in the VIP seat".

Raven turned around and said, "No need, I have much to tell my troops".

Prince Noah didn't seem to give up and said again, "You can tell them later after landing, until there is still plenty of time before heading to the barracks".

Raven looked a little uncomfortable and said, "Your Highness, the plane will be flying soon. For your safety, you better sit down and fasten your seat belt."

Prince Noah who heard Raven's words and his slightly uncomfortable tone immediately turned away to enter the VIP room. Raven just watched and immediately turned to look for William. William who was sitting on the chair slightly behind, waved his hand. Raven immediately sat down next to him and they immediately discussed plans while in Croatia. While they were talking, the other troops chatted with each other and even laughed when someone made a joke. Raven glanced at Arzoo who could not be seen from where he was sitting and only heard the slightest sound of Arzoo talking to Chen and even laughing. Raven felt a little annoyed and found Arzoo very strange, why with him he never started a conversation and even always avoided it.

William knew that Raven wasn't paying attention to what they were talking about right now and said, "If you're not focused you better go, I'm going to sleep".

Raven turned to William who took out his headset and mp3 player. Raven took the document in Willian's hand and pulled out William's headset and mp3 player and said before getting up from his chair, "I borrowed it".

Willian just sighed and as if it was normal, William took a headset and another mp3 player from his bag along with an eye patch so he could sleep comfortably.

Raven walked and stopped at the chair where Arzoo and Chen were sitting. Arzoo who had now closed his eyes with an eye patch, did not notice Raven's arrival. Raven sat next to Chen, which must have made Chen feel uncomfortable and immediately sat stiffly and was about to wake Arzoo but Raven stopped Chen's hand and shook his head. Raven motioned for Chen to move, Chen who felt uncomfortable immediately stood up and moved to another seat. Inwardly, Chen apologized to Arzoo for leaving him.

Raven looked at Arzoo for a moment then put the headset on his own ear and went to sleep. Arzoo was so sound asleep that he unconsciously leaned against the hard plane window. Raven who was asleep felt the shaking in the plane and woke up, Raven immediately stood up and walked to the pilot's place to check the situation. After knowing that everything was safe, Raven returned to his seat. He who woke up suddenly was now fully awake and looked out the window, it was raining. Raven got to his seat and looked at Arzoo who was sleeping with his head hitting the plane window several times and also hugging himself like he was cold. Raven sat down and removed the chair divider and took the blanket from under the chair. Raven covered Arzoo's body with a blanket, then gently pulled Arzoo's body to lean on him. After he felt that everything was neatly finished, Raven closed his eyes again.

When Arzoo woke up, the plane had already entered Croatian territory and was about to land. Arzoo saw the blanket on his body and the pillows leaning on his right and left like a barrier but there was no one next to him. Arzoo thought maybe Chen was going to the bathroom and Chen also the one who put the pillow and blanket for him but when he got up and was about to go to the bathroom, he realized that Chen was sleeping on another chair. Arzoo sat back down and smell the pillow next to him and knew that the one who was sitting next to him was not Chen but Raven and of course it was Raven who put the blanket and pillow too. Realizing this, Arzoo immediately blushed and a small smile appeared on his lips. Arzoo hugged the pillow and smell it for a long time before he put it down again after seeing Raven walking towards him. Arzoo thought that Raven would return to sit next to him but Raven walked past him to the VIP room. Arzoo just looked at him and immediately turned his head when Raven turned to him.

The plane had landed in Croatia, buses and pick-up cars had arrived to take them to the barracks located quite a distance from the military airport. All the troops immediately got off and got into the bus and the road trip began.
