Chapter 2

The bus had been traveling at a moderate speed and passed through a deserted area until it entered a populated area. The location of the military airport is in an area far from the war zone and to get to the Canadian military headquarters it takes a road trip by bus for 3 to 4 hours before being picked up by armed troops using jeeps escorted by tanks.

The buildings on either side of the road began to look deserted and seemed to have been abandoned until they arrived at a tunnel that was closed and guarded by soldiers in military uniforms from various countries. The soldier who picked them up at the airport immediately got off the bus and showed his identity then after that the officers on guard opened the guard door for the bus to pass. After the bus was running again in less than 5 minutes, soldiers in Canadian military uniforms were waiting with very happy faces, they brought several jeeps and tanks to pick up the Phoenix unit troops who would replace their duties.

The captain who led his troops had been waiting in front of the military headquarters, waiting for the arrival of Prince Noah and also the Phoenix unit which would replace his unit which had served in Croatia for 7 months. When the jeep arrived in front of the military headquarters, the Captain immediately rushed and welcomed Prince Noah. Prince Noah looks very tired after a long journey, Raven who is standing behind Prince Noah immediately greets Captain Tristan who is his senior and former Captain before Raven was transferred to the Phoenix unit.

"Captain", said Raven politely.

"Raven, I haven't had the chance to congratulate you on your promotion to captain. Now we are on an equal footing," said Captain Tristan who reached out to shake hands with Raven.

Raven accepted Captain Tristan's congratulations and shook his hand, "Thank you, captain. I learned a lot from you".

The two of them walked together to enter the military base with Prince Noah who seemed to have run out of energy. Raven said "Your Highness, you'd better get some rest. Captain Tristan and I have a lot to discuss regarding the shifting of duties".

Because Prince Noah was too tired, he immediately agreed and went with his guards and assistants to rest in the room that had been prepared for him.

Raven and Captain Tristan began directing his troops to put their belongings first in the barracks that stood in the buildings of the former settlements that had been destroyed. After that, the Phoenix unit troops began to take positions on the training ground to begin joint training with the Eagle unit troops who had served there for 7 months to get to know each other before the division of tasks was given.

In the captain's office, the captains and vice-captains were having a discussion. Captain Tristan said, "The Eagle unit will stay here for 10 days to introduce the area here and the things to know about the duty here and also to make it easier to delegate tasks to the Phoenix unit troops before we return to Canada with Prince Noah. During that time too, I hope you guys can cooperate well with the Eagle unit troops".

"And also I want to inform you that unlike the Phoenix unit, the Eagle unit has female soldiers and werewolf omega, I hope you can remind your troops to maintain their attitude and respect female soldiers and omega", said vice captain of the Eagle unit, Vice Captain Joan.

Raven who heard that was a little surprised but he immediately replied, "Sure, I will warn them loudly".

"Okay, William can come with Joan to see the activities here and Raven stays here, I still have something to talk about", said Captain Tristan.

William and Joan immediately stood up and said goodbye, "All right, Captain. We're going first."

After William and Joan left, Captain Tristan started a conversation "I heard your twin brother just got engaged to Princess Nora and I see you are also close to the third Prince Noah. Are you in a relationship with Prince Noah?".

Hearing Captain Tristan's words, Raven was a little uncomfortable and looked at Captain Tristan with a look as if he was judging the person in front of him who definitely made Captain Tristan feel uncomfortable. Captain Tristan immediately said quickly, "It's not like you think, I really don't want to interfere or judge you. It's just that Princess Nora and Prince Noah even though they are siblings but they have very different temperaments. "Listen, whatever happens I hope you don't fall in love with the Third Prince and whatever happens don't let you mate with him", said Captain Tristan who held Raven's shoulder.

Raven sighed and said "I know, I'll be careful".

Arzoo was assigned to watch tonight along with Gial and two senior soldiers, to stand guard in front of the Captain and Vice Captain's rooms. Gial is a junior soldier that is also like Arzoo, but Gial is a soldier from the Eagle unit. Gial had quiet personality that the two of them didn't talk much and only spoke moderately while guarding the front door of the room while the other two seniors walked around the room.

Raven had just returned after speaking with Captain Tristan and the vice-captain as well as the military staff at the headquarter. Raven was very tired, especially when Captain Tristan had asked him to drink. As he was about to enter his room, Raven saw Arzoo standing guard at the door. Raven immediately smiled a little and pretended to walk with a stagger which made Arzoo and Gial immediately help him to enter his room. Arriving in the room, Gial was about to help him take off his clothes but Raven immediately refused.

"Get out, I only need one person to help me and I'm more comfortable with people from my own unit so come out and guard outside, don't let anyone else in", said Raven who was like a drunkard.

Gial immediately walked out leaving Raven and Arzoo alone. Seeing Gial who had come out, Raven immediately said "Help me change clothes".

Arzoo was silent but he immediately moved to take the bag on the bed and took a change of clothes for Raven. Raven looked at Arzoo who slowly unbuttoned his military uniform, Arzoo did it quickly and all the buttons were undone. The broad chest and abs that are so sturdy and strong are so beautifully formed on Raven's tall body. Arzoo swallowed his saliva without realizing it and made Raven smile.

Raven said, "Be careful how you behave while here, there are several female soldiers here as well as omega. Respect them and cooperate well with them. Ah and likely the Third Prince is also an omega so while he is here take care of him in case he gets heat. Immediately give heat medicine and keep him away from the alphas, you're beta so you can definitely do it".

Arzoo was obviously very surprised to hear that Prince Noah was a werewolf as well as an omega. Arzoo couldn't believe that in the royal family there were werewolves. "Then Raven can mate with Prince Noah", thought Arzoo which immediately made him nervous and shivered with fear.
