Raven And His Omega

Chapter 3

"What are you thinking?", asked Raven who saw Arzoo who was lost in thought and did not continue to button his clothes.

Arzoo remained silent and just lowered his head. Raven continued, "You're tempted, aren't you? I know I'm handsome and I have a great body too".

Raven's words made Arzoo immediately glance at Raven's face but at the same time Raven was also looking into Arzoo's eyes and their eyes were looking at each other. Arzoo immediately flinched and his face turned red but he immediately pushed Raven in annoyance.

"Seeing you up close like this, you really haven't changed. Even though your hair is now shorter than it used to be but you are still as beautiful as ever," said Raven who touched Arzoo's hair gently and the smile on his face was also so sincere.

Arzoo was stunned until his body seemed to freeze but only for a moment because a voice from outside woke him up, "Vice captain, you're back?".

"Oh yes, why are you guarding yourself?", asked the vice-captain William to Gial.

"Captain Raven just came back drunk and Arzoo is inside to help Captain Raven change clothes", replied Gial who said it honestly.

William sighed and said "Then tell the Captain if he's looking for me that I'll be sleeping in another room".

Gial was surprised but didn't ask and just said yes, "Okay, vice-captain William".

William turned to leave but a noise from inside the tent was heard and made him stop then Arzoo came out with an annoyed face. Arzoo looked at William and just looked down and went running somewhere. Soon Raven also came out of the tent and glanced at William, said, "Damn it, come on in".

William who was about to leave finally came into the room with Raven and asked "You don't want to chase that boy?".

"No," replied Raven curtly who lay down on his bed in his clothes with the buttons still unbuttoned.

William glanced at him and said "Hm, are you sure? I heard that he's a beta but many secretly like him because he's so pretty".

Raven glanced at William who was sitting on his own bed but Raven just kept quiet and turned his back to William. William knew that Raven didn't want to answer him so he didn't mention it anymore and quickly changed into his clothes and got ready for bed.

Arzoo sat on a rock and stared at the green landscape in front of him that was already pitch black. In the dark, Arzoo's flushed face could not be seen but the reflection of the light from the barracks illuminated his now red neck. Arzoo took the pill bottle and took the pill medicine from the bottle and sighed.

"Why is the heat coming faster than usual", murmured Arzoo who was hugging his own leg.

The overcast morning made the sunlight invisible and the barracks looked dark. Training continues as usual, it's been a week since the Phoenix unit has been in Croatia and almost all the tasks of the Eagle unit have been handed over to the Phoenix team.

Last night, Arzoo had an assignment to guard the night at headquarters, he had just finished breakfast and was about to take a shower but when he passed Raven's room, Arzoo saw Raven who came out with messy clothes and sweat dripping down his temples. When their eyes met each other, both of them subconsciously looked at each other in another direction. Raven straightened his clothes and asked Arzoo "What are you doing in front of my room?"

Arzoo was about to answer but from inside Raven's room Prince Noah's voice called out to Raven, "Raven, come back!".

Raven closed the room tightly and called William from his walkie talkie, "William, call Prince Noah's assistant and guards to come to my room! And also bring heat medicine".

William didn't have time to answer but Raven immediately turned off his walkie talkie and looked at Arzoo, "Where are you going?".

Arzoo smells omega pheromone from Raven's body and also from inside the room, but the alpha pheromone is more pronounced and makes Arzoo's body heat up because of Raven's alpha pheromone. But Arzoo just looked down and answered Raven's question curtly, "To the bathroom".

"Wait here a moment with me before William comes with the assistant and guards from Prince Noah," said Raven leaning against the crumbling wall in front of his room.

Arzoo was silent and stood firmly near the door of Raven's room. Raven saw it and asked "You are not affected by omega pheromone, are you?".

Arzoo was shocked and immediately replied with a bit of annoyance that raised his voice, "No, it can't be".

Raven smiled mischievously and said "Why do you have to scream to answer my question, I'm standing no more than 1.5 meters from you. I'm your boss, you should be polite".

Arzoo pouted and lowered his head, saying "Sorry, captain".

Raven approaches and makes Arzoo startled. Raven stopped 4 steps from Arzoo and said softly even as if he was muttering to himself so that Arzoo couldn't hear him clearly, "You smell better than pheromone omega".

Arzoo who didn't hear him clearly was about to ask but Raven immediately backed away from him and said "Go, William has come. You smell bad, take a shower!".

Hearing that, Arzoo became annoyed and immediately turned away with steps that sounded very loud. Seeing Arzoo who was very quickly leaving in annoyance, Raven smiled and said to himself "He's so cute".

Arzoo went to the bathroom and took a quick shower before returning to his room to sleep. Inside the room, a female senior came and greeted him, "Junior, you see Gial?".

Arzoo who was lying down immediately got up and said, "I don't know, senior. When I came back after last night's shift, he wasn't in the room anymore".

The female senior just nodded her head and then she said, "Ah, fine. The next time you meet Gial, please tell him that his older sister is looking for him, okay?"

Arzoo just found out that Gial has a sister who is also in the army and is assigned to Croatia as well and is in the same base. Arzoo agreed, "Okay, senior. I'll tell Gial later".

The female senior immediately thanked him with a smile that made her face look similar to Gial's, "Thank you, junior".

Arzoo smiled back, "You're welcome, senior".

At lunch time, Gial returned to the room and woke up Arzoo who was still sleeping. Arzoo woke up and saw that it was Gial who woke him up, Arzoo immediately remembered the message from the female senior this morning.

"Gial, there was a female senior looking for you. She left a message and asked me to tell you that your older sister was looking for you", said Arzoo delivering a message from the female senior.

Gial was immediately shocked and said, "I am an only child, how can I have an older sister".

Arzoo gets shocked and wonders who the woman is and why she knows Gial, "Are you sure? maybe your older cousin?".

Gial replied, "No way, in my family the only one who becomes a soldier is me and I am the eldest grandchild of my mother's or father's family".

Arzoo immediately felt something odd and immediately stood up, "Then who was that woman?".

Gial asked, "What are the figure look like?".

Arzoo was stunned and recalled the figure of the woman earlier, "She has blonde hair and the shape of her eyes and lips are also similar to yours. That's why I didn't suspect that it was not your older sister."

Gial was immediately shocked and pulled Arzoo into the captain's room, Arzoo just followed him without asking because he was sure that something was wrong and suspicious, and must be reported to the Captain immediately. In front of the captain's room, Gial knocked on the door of the room. Raven who was inside immediately replied, "Come in".

Gial hasn't let go of Arzoo's hand since leaving the room and makes Raven immediately stand up and think something happened to Arzoo or something between Arzoo and Gial. With a suppressed voice, Raven asked, "What's wrong?".

Gial let go of Arzoo's hand and said "Captain Raven, we would like to report that this morning there was a woman claiming to be my older sister and I believe that she is one of the syndicate selling children and human organs in Croatia".

Raven looked at Arzoo and Gial who noticed it immediately nudged Arzoo's hand with his elbow. Arzoo immediately stood up straight and began to narrate what happened this morning, "In the morning, when I returned to my room to rest, a few moments later a woman wearing a Canadian military uniform with the Eagle troop unit logo entered the room. The room was quiet and there was only me. The woman saw me and asked me about Gial's whereabouts but because I didn't know where Gial was, the woman just left a message for Gial before she left".

"Why do you believe that woman is a member of a syndicate?", Raven asked Gial.

Gial immediately replied confidently, "Half a year ago when the Eagle troop unit just arrived in Croatia, the Eagle unit was immediately assigned to assist in arresting narcotics syndicates but while carrying out their duties we discovered that other syndicates were capturing children for sale, both in living conditions or just the organs. At that time, a senior and I were caught by the syndicate and a woman who was one of the powerful members of the syndicate, was infatuated with me and had said that she would make herself look like me because of that time. Arzoo said if the woman looked like me and had blonde hair, I immediately believed it was her."

Arzoo and Raven watched Gial's face which seemed to change from a face that originally looked gentle and warm, changed to an expression that was a mix of anger, annoyance, hate, fear, sadness and guilt. Raven approached and said, "We will check first, who is that woman. We gather all the soldiers and staffs. After that, Arzoo will make sure whether or not the woman is in this base. The rest we can discuss with Captain Tristan. I don't know the details yet about the syndicate so now you can tell the guard on duty today to close the entrance and exit to the base first, don't let anyone out of the base".

Gial and Arzoo immediately went to inform the doorman of the headquarters. Raven immediately contacted Captain Tristan and William to discuss about the woman and the syndicate that Gial was talking about.

Everyone has gathered and Arzoo doesn't even see the woman's figure and Raven is attending to everyone who is in the headquarters. After it was discovered that several people had not come to gather, Raven ordered William and the rest of the senior squad to look for those who had not yet arrived.

William returned in a hurry and reported what had happened to Raven, "Captain, we found four people who were absent and all of them are in serious condition and one person has died. I would like to request the medical team to come with me now".

Raven immediately ordered the medical team to hurry away and told everyone gathered to return to their respective duties and to continue to be careful. Captain Tristan and several other senior troops immediately moved to look for the whereabouts of the people who had smuggled into the base. Raven follows the medical team and also invites Arzoo and Gial to come with him.

In a dark and dusty room there are three people hanging upside down on a pole with their heads covered in blood and under them is a bucket that holds the blood of the unconscious soldier. One other person was lying on the ground not far from the three, she was a woman with blonde hair whose face was no longer recognizable and clothes that had disappeared from her body. Her body was full of wounds and a stab in her heart.

Arzoo immediately felt sick to see what was in front of him. Raven who is helping the medical team to untie the three people hanging from the pole, is about to ask Arzoo to help him but seeing Arzoo who is pale and looks sweaty immediately cancels his wish and instead tells Arzoo to come out, "Arzoo stay guard outside".

Arzoo who heard that immediately came out and as if his stomach had just been shaken, he vomited on the grass until his already pale face grew paler and his eyes became watery.

" Hish, that's disgusting. How can a soldier vomit like that at the sight of blood", a voice startled Arzoo making him immediately turn around and look at the woman he met this morning.

Arzoo was about to scream for the others but before he could scream, the woman kicked him. Arzoo immediately dodged but the woman continued to hit him with punches that seemed weak but turned out to be so strong that Arzoo who could fight someone bigger than him had to dodge and retreat. When Arzoo started to fight, the woman smiled and said "It's over".

Arzoo was so shocked and the woman's kick hit his leg that he fell and right behind him was the edge of the rock cliff that Arzoo used to go to when he wanted to be alone and contemplate. Arzoo who just realized it was unable to withstand the woman's blow and kept his balance before falling into the cliff.

Arzoo's scream was heard faintly, not everyone in the room heard it but Raven who was a werewolf with sharp hearing immediately ran out and looked for Arzoo's whereabouts but Arzoo was not in front of the room. Raven uses his sense of smell to smell Arzoo's body scent, Raven immediately follows the scent. William who followed him was about to ask but Raven immediately covered William's mouth and saw a blonde woman in Canadian military uniform who was talking to two men in Canadian military uniforms also near the ravine. Raven noticed that nearby there were vomit marks on the grass as well as grass that looked like it had been trampled on. Raven and William immediately took out their weapons and prepared to attack the three.

Raven shoots one man and William also shoots another man but the three people notice their arrival and quickly dodge but both men have been shot and injured while the woman runs very fast when Raven and William try to shoot the woman again, the woman turned and laughed before shooting the two men she was talking to and the woman turning into a wolf and exiting the base area by jumping over the fence.

William immediately checked the condition of the two men and shook his head at Raven who was staring at him. Raven then looked around and started calling out to Arzoo, "Arzoo!! Arzoo!!".

Arzoo moaned in pain and heard Raven's voice above the cliff, he wanted to call him and scream but he who was already weak didn't have the strength to scream, plus his consciousness was starting to blur.

“Raven”, Arzoo muttered before losing consciousness completely.

"Ugh, Arzoo, Arzoo, Wake up", a soft hoarse voice sounded in Arzoo's ear.

Arzoo slowly started to open his eyes, his body felt heavy and his head hurt so much that a buzzing sound could be heard in his ears. Water dripped down Arzoo's face and the cold air made his body that had been in pain hurt even more. Warm but wet hands touched Arzoo's face which made him feel more comfortable and calm.

"Thank God", a whisper that sounded low and faint because it was covered by the sound of a fairly heavy rain.

Raven covered Arzoo's body with his military uniform and carried Arzoo while hugging him. Raven, who was only wearing a plain black t-shirt, looked immediately drenched, but Raven didn't look cold at all and only focused on Arzoo who was in his hands. Raven looked for a place to shelter from the rain while waiting for William who came down from base to the bottom of the ravine through the forest.

When Raven looked for Arzoo, Raven found footprints on the ground that had been dragged into the cliff and without thinking, Raven immediately ordered William to go down the cliff through the forest by getting out of the base and down into the forest while Raven himself immediately slid down from the cliff which was quite in that. After Raven descends from the top of the cliff, it rains quite heavily which makes it difficult for Raven to find Arzoo's whereabouts. After a while, Raven finds Arzoo leaning against a fallen tree but he is not doing well with injuries to his legs and head.

Raven carried Arzoo out of the forest not far from where there was the sound of running water which was probably a river. What Raven remembered was that the road to the base would pass through the forest and there was a river flowing right next to the road. So to make it easier for William to find the two of them, Raven walked out of the forest towards the river.

The rain was getting heavier, Raven saw Arzoo who was shivering with cold. Raven tries to contact William using his radio but it doesn't work. Raven finally saw a large and shady banyan tree with leaves that protected the ground below from the rain so that it was still quite dry despite the heavy rain. Raven walked to the banyan tree and put Arzoo to lean on the banyan tree trunk. Then Raven looked for dry twigs to make a bonfire so that Arzoo wouldn't get cold, in an instant the bonfire was ready. Raven took off his clothes that were on Arzoo's body and squeezed the clothes to dry and placed them close to the bonfire. Raven took off Arzoo's clothes and helped him dry. Arzoo who was between conscious and unconscious, felt the warmth and subconsciously approached the apo bonfire. Raven immediately pulled Arzoo's body into his arms, Raven's body which was also not wearing a shirt anymore felt very warm. When Arzoo's skin met Raven's warm skin made Arzoo very comfortable and fell asleep soundly in Raven's arms.

Raven embraced Arzoo's body with tenderness and warmth but also with strength as if afraid that Arzoo would be separated from hisbembrace. Raven muttered "Why am I like this to you? I...". Raven kissed Arzoo's forehead, then he leaned against the banyan tree trunk and looked around.

When Arzoo woke up, he was already in the clinic. The doctor on duty saw Arzoo who had regained consciousness immediately approached him and asked, "How are you feeling? Is there any pain and discomfort?".

Arzoo looked at the male doctor who approached him and answered slowly, "Just my head is a little dizzy and my legs hurt".

The doctor checked Arzoo's temperature and said, "There is a slight wound on the head due to the impact, tomorrow morning we will go down to the medical center to do a CT Scan to check whether there are internal injuries and bleeding or not. The wound on the leg is only an external wound and has been stitched earlier. Now you just rest first".

Arzoo nodded and replied, "Okay, doctor".

The doctor stood up from his chair and said goodbye to Arzoo who was still awake, "I will go first, if you need anything you can call me on the radio".

Arzoo agreed and the doctor turned to leave. Arzoo felt bored but he didn't feel sleepy so he could only stare out the window, looking at the rain that was still falling quite heavily.

A few moments later someone came in and startled Arzoo who was still lost in thought, "Where is the doctor on duty?".

Arzoo flinched at hearing Raven's voice suddenly entering the clinic. Arzoo was just silent and vaguely recalled the time he fell from the cliff, when Raven hugged him so warmly. Raven looked at Arzoo who was blushing and asked "You... Is there anything uncomfortable?".

Raven's hand touched Arzoo's forehead to check his temperature but Arzoo immediately swatted Raven's hand and said "I'm fine".

Raven was not angry and just smiled "Okay, you hungry? I brought dinner for you".

Arzoo felt he was indeed hungry and he remembered the last time he ate was this morning so it was only natural that he felt dizzy and hungry. Arzoo nodded "Hm".

Raven opened the large piece of food he had brought with him, inside which was rice, crap and sweetcorn soup, roast pork chow mein, siu mai, and sweet dumplings. Arzoo who saw him couldn't believe that in Croatia, Raven had brought him Chinese food. Arzoo asked "Where did the captain get all that?".

Raven just smiled and set the lunch box in front of Arzoo and said "Don't worry about it, eat before it gets cold".

Arzoo nodded and started to eat it "Thank you captain".

Raven stroked Arzoo's hair and sat on the edge of the bed watching Arzoo eat.
