|CHAPTER 7~Flashbacks| "There's a spare room down to the hall on the left," he says before throwing the keys on the small table that was next to the door as we walked in. The whole rest of the car ride back was awkward. No one even spoke a peep the whole time we were together. Now that I think back on it, 'awkward' would be an understatement of what it really was. "Um, okay," I hesitantly speak out before beginning to make my way down the hall. Not even looking around to see where I was going in the house, I ignored all my surroundings, as I was too busy trying to find my way to the bathroom. "Where's the damn bathroom?" I mutter through clenched teeth before finally seeing the familiar looking door to the left of me. Turning the doorknob, I open the door to see a large bathroom with what seemed to be, a separate room for the toilet.  This is not the bathroom that I used last time, the other one was a lot smaller and not nearly as nice. So why do the doors look so much alik-  I'm quickly cut off from my thoughts to hear a deep voice that is forever scarred in my brain. "What in the hell are you doing in here?!" At that, I turn around to see a large figure–that could only be identified as Adriano, looming over me with the look of fury in his eyes, making me start to stutter like a child that got caught with her hand in the cookie jar. "I-The bathroom. I was looking for the bathro-" "In my room?! The bathroom that you use is in the hallway further down. You've been there before, Luna! Stop acting all clueless and innocent and get out!" He yells, making me stumble on my words before rushing past him and into the hallway. I was stunned at the fact I ended up in his room. I guess that's what happens when you don't stay aware of your surroundings. But I was more stunned at the way he raised his voice. Seeing the evil and heartless part of Adriano scared me to an extent where I never wanted to even look into those cold ocean blue eyes again. Seeing the guest bathroom, I quickly run into it before slamming the door behind me. Catching my breath, I lean against the door before finally collecting my sanity and starting to strip out of the dirty clothes I've been wearing. With my underwear the last to go, I get in. The warm water cascading down my body as I let the dirt and grime of the whole day fall down into the drain. Washing my hair, I begin to remember flashes of last night events of me with him. "Are you sure you want to do this?" He ask as he pushes me further down the hall before slamming me lightly against the wall. The look of concern and lust mixed in his ocean blue eyes, making the arousal in me begin to stir even more. Ignoring the nervous jitters in my stomach, I take a large gulp of air before replying. "I want this more than you could ever fathom. I don't just want this, I need this, Mystery man." And with that, he cracks a small smirk before pushing me into the bathroom. Turning on the dim switched lights to a soft setting as we both stumble into the room with our lips still in sync with each other.  Fumbling with the button on his pants, he breaks apart from our kiss and stops me right before I could fully get them undone.  "Wait, I... I just can't do this. It's not right. You seem so innocent. But most importantly you're... you're-" getting cut off by my hand over his mouth. Chuckling, I shush him before uncovering his mouth and quickly attacking his lips with mine. I release him from our kiss and look up to see him clenching his eyes closed. As if he were doing something that was frowned upon. But ignoring the vibes, I let my face get inches from his before whispering... "I don't understand why now, and I probably never will. But I just need you, I need this with you. No one else, just the man standing before me." Hesitantly, he opens his eyes, meeting my hazel ones in response. Instantly he begins to slowly lean in before starting to leave soft love bites that started from the collarbone of my neck, and eventually lead up to the softness of my lips. With a swift movement, he rips the back of my dress open before slowly sliding the soft fabric down my body, leaving me stark cold naked in my underwear. He then steps back a bit to admire my body, but I quickly cover myself at the uncomfortableness of being naked in front of someone.  "Move your arms," he says sternly, making me gulp before looking down and shaking my head. I then feel a warm finger on my chin, lifting it up, he gave me a serious look before saying in a more sterner tone. "Move. Your. Hands." And with that, he arches a brow mischievously, making me press my eyes tightly closed before moving my arms away. In fear that he would find the way the way I looked ugly and reject me due to the fact I wasn't slim up and down, rather had an hourglass figure. But before I could even overthink it, I feel a pair of harsh lips on mine in a fierce kiss, instantly making me sigh in relief that he didn't find my body repulsing. "Underwear," is all he mumbles against my lips, making my stomach turn into knots once again in nervousness. Fighting the slight instinct to run out crying to my mom, I push that slight doubt aside before letting out a small chuckle. "Clothes," I state adamantly, getting the idea that he was still fully clothed, while I on the other hand, was not. Chuckling back, he then begin to shed his clothes before getting to the button part of his suit. He parts away for a brief beat before seeing one last look of his covered torso. In a split second, I'm quickly blinded by a VERY ripped man standing before my eyes.  Dear God, I think a bit of drool just rolled out of my mouth. The cold air against my chest then turned into a soft, warm and firm body as he connected our lips once again. The sound of a belt buckle then pulled me back to reality. Before I knew it, his pants were down to about mid thigh and he was placing himself at my entrance. And with one last gasp of air, he- "Luna! You alright in there?!" A large knock sounds as a deep voice yells out, breaking me out of my lust filled memories of Adriano. "Uh, yeah. Is there something you need?" I try to yell over the water, but my voice fails me when it cracks at the sound, making me mentally slap myself on the forehead. "Well you've been in there for a good hour, and I just wanted to let you know I set some clothes out beside the door when you need them!" He yells out. And right as I was about to respond, he continues. "Whatever, whenever you're done, they're out here by the door." And with that, I hear the sound of faint footsteps beginning to feel the sound of my ears. With a soft groan, I lean back on the tiled wall before taking a beat to turn off the water and wrap myself in the towel I found in the cabinet. Instantly getting hit by the feel of cold air, I shiver in my spot before walking to open the door. Looking down, I see that the clothes were actually women's clothing rather then men's, making me tilt my head in confusion before picking it up and walking it back in the bathroom. Looking through it before slipping on the cotton undies and regular white t-shirt with sweat pants. Walking out of the restroom, I begin to scavenge around for Adriano, but immediately stop in my tracks when I catch him in the corner of my eye making a bed in one of the rooms.  "Uh, do you just so happen to know where I'm sleeping?" I question hesitantly, making him turn to look before going back to his task at hand. I internally scoff for a second at his rudeness before hearing him finally say something. "Well, it could just so happen to be the room where I'm making the bed in. But that just may be too simple," he says in a sarcastic tone while still working, getting a raised eyebrow out of me in response. "Well it's good to see your annoying ass sarcastic attitude hasn't faded away." He then stops for a second to look at me with a dead stare, making me get chills at the expression on his face. "Luna, I don't mean to be a d**k, I really don't. But can you please stop asking so many goddamn questions, it's really f*****g annoying ," he says while getting back to preparing the bed, making me let out a humorless chuckle. "So much for not being a d**k," I mumble under my breath, making him throw down the sheet in a fit of anger before walking fast towards me. I begin to back up in fear before hitting my back against the wall with a small thud. He then gets an inch so close to my face, I could smell the faint scent of tequila and mint–a strange combination at that. "Just. Stay out of my way, Luna. Do you understand that?! Yes, we will see each other and talk since we'll be working together. But I do repeat! Only when we have to!" He spits out venomously, making the look of pure terror flash over my features in an instant.  With one last ounce of strength I had, I pushed him away from me. But it ends up doing more bad than good when he barely moves a fraction of a centimeter, making him chuckle a bit. He stops laughing for a second and his eyes turn cold while his smile turns into a small smirk, making me see that his eyes are stuck on something that was a bit below my face. Looking down to see that he was looking at the fact my white t-shirt was very transparent, and you could see my n*****s plain as day through the shirt. Running over to get the pillow, I quickly cover my chest before hitting him roughly on the shoulder in anger. "You perv! You gave me this shirt on purpose!" I yell enraged, but just get a small snort out of him in response as he lightly rubs where I hit him. "Please, fiore. Your body is nothing extravagant. You were no better than any of the other women I've fucked."  Instantly, a pang in my chest begin to hit me like a brick, hitting my insecurities. The look of regret and guilt showcasing in Adriano's eyes as soon as he saw the hurt that his words caused me. "Luna, I didn-" he says trying to scoot closer to me, but instantly recoil away from him as if he was a pest. "Please, just get out." "No, Luna. Listen, I did-"  "I said get the f**k out, Adriano!"  The look of guilt still clear in his crystal blue orbs. And now the look of shock at the sound of his name leaving my lips for the first time ever, and in such a venomous way. Ignoring the fact that I told him to get out in his own home, he raises his hands in defense before slowly starting to walk out of the room. But right as he makes it to the door, he stops before saying something that would actually make me contemplate on what kind of person he really was. "I'm sorry for everything, Luna." And with that, he leaves me to fall asleep in my own sorrows and guilt.
