The Run In

I jolt awake with a snort and I groan I wipe my mouth and start to look for my phone once I find it I check the time and see it’s was only ten minutes passed from when me and Bear got home, I stretch out feeling sore from passing out on the couch and get up and start heading towards the kitchen, shuffling aromatic g the cabinets I pull out al the pots and dishes I need to make dinner and fill up the ones I need halfway with water, once I’m done with that I open the refrigerator and get out the chicken and put the pieces in the water to boil and then grab the rest of the ingredients for my recipe once everything is cooked and the chicken is shredded I put everything in the casserole dish and finish it up with the Velveeta cheese I cut up and check to make sure the oven was set and timer on once I put the casserole in the oven I set an alarm on my phone and set an alarm on the microwave for Bear to help me, I wash my hands when I’m finally shed and head to the hallway I knock on the door to Bears room and yell out “hey I put everything in the oven and set alarms when the one on the microwave goes off can you put the rice on please I’m gonna jump in the shower and start getting ready” Bear answers me back “no problem” and I go grab all my things to shower and go to the bathroom.

I start the shower and get undressed and get in and start washing my body and ride off when I’m done then I grab the shampoo and start washing my hair, rise and grab the conditioner combing my fingers through my hair finishing off my hair, I grab my razor and shave my armpits, legs and then I shave my privates making sure I’m smooth all over, I rinse off my body making sure I got every sudd off and cut off the shower, getting out I grab the towel wrap my hair in one towel and wipe the water off and wrap up the other towel around myself, I take the towel in my hair off and do a quick towel dry and hang up the towel to dry, I open the door to the bathroom and walk out and walk out to the living room “ Hey Bear is that rice done yet, I know I didn’t take that long in the shower” looking up when I hear a deep voice I yelp and drop the towel “omg “ I quickly grab it and cover myself back up “ Zack” I blush and my cheeks turn bright pink “ um um ….I…I didn’t know you were here ….let me go get dressed be back” I say backing away to my room and feeling really embarrassed that I dropped my towel and Zack saw me naked. Opening my bedroom door quickly and closing it I sit on my bed and cover my face with my hands “oh my gosh I can’t believe that just happened” I sit for a bit and then look around and grab clothes and put them on getting dressed checking myself out in the mirror making sure I looked okay I slowly open the door and listen to both Bear and Zack talking, taking a deep breath I put on my brace face and step out my room and head to were they were and they stop talking when I enter the room feeling awkward I wave and say “Hi…so um Bear the rice is it done?” I question and walk over to the oven and pull out the casserole that’s now finished and pull out bowls to put the food in avoiding their gaze, Bear answers back a quick “yes” and I spot the rice fully cooked and I thank him.

Placing the rice first and the the casserole I hand both boys their food then finish makes my own and sit down at the table. I heard I throat beating cleared I finally look up and seeing it was Zack who done it, his cheeks are pink and in his deep voice “ Thank you Hannah, for the food” I smile slightly “ no problem Zack, I ugh always feed everyone just ask Nolan” Zack smiles at me and I melt a little.

Once everyone’s bowl is cleared out I start to gather the dirty dishes and put them in the sink turning on the water I see a shadow behind me and turn seeing Zack he gives me a smirk and says “ I can help, if you like” looking up at him “sure, thank you” he comes stand right next to me and we both start cleaning up the dishes and finish them up in no time I wipe my hands off with a dish rag and hand it over to Zack “ hold on” he says looking at me and takes the dish rag in his hand and lifts my chin up with his other one, using his thumb he wipes my cheek trailing it down, looking in his eyes I hitch my breath and feel his thumb on the bottom of my lip and quickly lick my lip brushing my tongue over the tip of his thumb and I hear him groan “ you’re an amazing cook” starting at him I blush and mumble “thank you.” Still look at each other he leans closer to me and I close my eyes breathing in his scent and feel the brush of his lips near my ear “ you’re very beautiful as well Hannah, don’t be embarrassed about earlier I’m not” I open my eyes and lean back away from Zack and search his face seeing the truth and what I think could be desire I feel the goosebumps and I squeak not knowing how to respond to him and I hear a throat Clear and quickly turn my head seeing Bear in the doorway with a big smile on his face.
