Blurred shapes greeted her vision as Sabeline flickered her eyes partially open. She was lying on a hard surface; she knew that much. The prickling, digging sensation across he cheek indicated she was against grit or stones of some description. Where was she? She tried shuffling around, attempting to at least sit up, but her arms wouldn’t cooperate and not just because of the lingering pain still throbbing throughout. It felt as if they were sealed by something. Determining that her wrists were where the sensation was strongest, Sabeline tried prying them apart. Only to be met with firm resistance.
