“You?!...You can talk?” Sabeline spluttered as the dragon gazed down at her with unimpressed golden eyes.
“Yes, I have always been able to do so.” The beast answered, as if this fact should have been obvious to her.
Her eyes narrowed. “Did you do this?” She moved her arms as well as she was able, hoping the monster could grasp what she meant.
“If you mean, did I restrain you with rope then yes, yes I did.”
“Why? Why bring me here and tie me up? Why not just kill me when you had the chance? Would have been easier for you surely?” Sabeline spat. If this creature planned on torturing her or other such unpleasantness, it was going to be very surprised.
