698 Words
1 week later... Graduation happened. Probably the best day ever. Jayden didn't come to talk to me. He hasn't ever since. "Still looking forward to that vacation?" Brett asks. I nodded. "Sure! But Angelica will want to come." "It's fine! The more, the merrier." "Alright." I heard a thud. "I'm ready for the VACAY!!" Angelica singed. "Wow, you're packed already?" Brett asks. "Yeah! You guys gotta hurry! I already booked the flight!" "To where?" I ask. "The Bahamas!" She answered. "Oh, yeah. Also, Jayden's coming." "He is?" I ask. "Yeah. Do you mind?" Brett asks me. "Uh.. You're okay with it?" "It's fine to me." --------------- "Do you mind if I sit here?" Somebody asks. "Sure." I said without looking at the person who asked. "Thanks." I took a look at the person and realized who it was. Jayden Willings. "Is this your seat?" I ask. "Yeah, I booked this seat." He told me. "Exactly this seat?" "Well.. yeah." "There are other seats." I told him. "Did you have to book this seat? Right next to me?" "You can sit anywhere." He stated. "You goof!" I smacked his arm lightly. "Feels nice, huh?" He asks with his smirk. "Nothing's nice about you." Oops, I didn't mean to say that. "I'm still waiting for that answer." "I'm still deciding." I said. After the ride on the boat to The Bahamas, I decided to get up from my seat. I took a long look at the ocean. It was beautiful. I leaned on the railing. "Boo!" Somebody screamed at me, making me have a heart attack. I screamed my lungs out. I turned around and saw that it was Jayden who scared the living crap out of me. "Jayden!" I yelled his name. "I love it when you say my name." "Was that slap not enough?" I ask harshly. "That told me that you hated me." "I did. I mean, I do." I corrected myself. "But that kiss, did you really kiss Brett Updaring?" He asks. "Why do you care?" I cross my arms. "I don't." He crossed his. "You're lying." I accused. "You're still waiting for my answer, aren't you?" "Yes." He answered. "No's the answer." I told him. I wanted to mess with him. I wanted to mess with his head. "Straight up no?" "Yes." "No reason?" He asks. "Nope." "Alright, alright," he says. "keep playing." "I will." "So you admit it." He smirks. "No, this seems fun." I said. "I will make you fall for me." He challenged. "Actually, you are falling for me." "I am not!" I raised my voice. "You're raising your voice." He pointed out. "You know I'm right." I bit my lip. "Whatever, Jay." He leans forward, making me lean off the railing of the boat. "Remember what I told you?" He asks. "What?" I ask. "Stop biting your lip." He told me. "Oh.." I bit my lip. Oops. He grabbed my close. "Can I bite that lip of yours?" He smirks. "Jay.. Let me go." He leans forward. I turn my face the other way. "No, Jayden." I said. He released me. "I'm sorry, Mallory." I passed him and sat down on the lounge chair. I put my sunglasses on. He sat next to me. "I'm sorry, Mallory." He said again. "I heard you." I told him. "Then why won't you let me kiss you?" "You already have, Jayden. Twice." "Whenever you bite your lip, it makes me want to do it, to you. But I don't want to hurt you." He said to me. "That makes sense." I commented. "Exactly." "What does that mean?" I ask, a bit confused. "Exactly." "Can you quite saying that?" I bit my bottom lip. "Again," he says. "you did it again." "Well, I can't-" His lips smashed against mines. There wasn't any people up where we were. He picked me up from the lounge chair. "Jayden." I let out. He backed away. "What?" I picked up my bag and my sunglasses that fell down. I didn't say anything back to him. I left and just let him hanging. Apparently, lip biting causes kisses. Now I know that. Mallory, stop biting your bottom lip, god damnit!
