We’re at the airport, standing in line to check in, when my phone dings with a text message. Grandma Ethel: Be a dear and meet us at Departure. I groan and look at my siblings—none of whom have reached for their phone. Of course she would only message me. “Grandma Ethel needs help unloading all their stuff.
