"Maur...kaji?" Painfully he swallowed down his hurt, hearing the nervous panic in her voice when she called out his name.
"s**t b***h, you think he heard us?" Nicky questioned in not such a hushed whisper as she meant for it come out. Guilt started to set in, Evanston finally turning around to face Juliet with a blank expression.
"Umm yeah, I...uhh...I came to get a haircut but...but something's come up...so I gotta go! Maybe next time!"

"Naw it's cool, I really do have somewhere I have to be right now so I'll reschedule! Wassup Nicky...I...I'll just see y'all...see y'all whenever!" He didn't let her say anything else, moving hastily to the exit to avoid having to address anyone else.
