Sensing the hidden message his lips wouldn't speak, Juliet playfully waved her hand in front of his face before winking at him with a smirk. She knew how Mango felt about Evanston, often worrying when things didn't seem right between the two. There was a lot she didn't know about the earlier years of their friendship because Don never spoke on it but she could tell he felt protective over his friend. The most he had alluded too was that Evanston had been through some things but what she couldn't figure out was why her boyfriend always made it his duty to intervene personally. Granted the two were as close as brothers could be without sharing the Nickye set of parents, that still didn't provide the answers she sought in his behavior.
"You good, you look stressed?"
"Yeah....I'm cool just..." running his hand down his face, he expressed he was in need of a blunt to calm his nerves. Hearing him loud and clear, Juliet made her way back into the house to grab a pre-rolled from his stash before coming back to him so they could indulge together.
"Man, s**t has been off for a month now but kaji refuses to tell me the truth!"
