The roads were still bare at this hour of the morning. I was grateful that the bikes finally began to slow as he left the highway and climbed the long road to Pacific Heights. Once we were in the general area, I recognised the road that he turned down as Broadway, aptly known as "Billionaires Row", and the most expensive line of houses in San Francisco, let alone Pacific Heights. The morning sun rising over the hills created a breathtaking view as its warm light hit the tree-lined sidewalks and luxurious house exteriors. The heated smell of jasmine wafted down from the leafy-decorated façades of the surrounding mansions.
