LEILA’S POV
Gina? Why would Winnie tell the head chef about me?
I looked up at Winnie in confusion. “Wh…why did you bring her here?” Without answering me, Winnie moved closer to me and lifted me up, making me face the head chef. “What do you think we should do? She can’t go out smelling like this?”
The head chef frowned, her eyebrows pulled at the center, deepening the frown line there. “We would have to douse her in lots and lots of perfume. Goddess, she practically stinks of him. It would be hard to hide this.”
“Can’t she just skip work? Pretend to be sick for a few days, at least until the smell wears off? If Lady Diane gets wind of this, I’m afraid that even the Alpha won’t be able to save her.”
The head chef shook her head. “The Alpha has specifically asked for her
